Yeah that is a shame.
Yeah they just had another article apologizing for not including her this week. It's not happening. Which is super weird. Like why even port this without it? Just makes no sense.
I can still play FES on my PS3 over there. Or I can pick up basically the PC version of that for $10 on sale. There's no way I'm paying $60 or even $40 on sale for Reload with less content. Just odd.
This port stands up as the definitive version in my opinion, but you'll always need P3P on hand to complete the experience. The Answer DLC is coming next month, I think that was originally part of FES?
Yeah. That's it, I played FES, I played Answer. All I didn't play was the female MC because I didn't have a PSP. I did have a PSTV and played some Vita games that way but not sure if it was available digitally backwards compatible or what... I don't know. So anyway I've never had a handy legal way to play female MC and would have probably bought P3R day 1 if it just had that. Re-releasing all the stuff that everyone already could play on PS2, PS3, and PC is just... baffling.
The one thing that most people didn't have is a PSP.
Including the female MC content would have been nice but you kind of make it sound like they just put out the same content again. Playing Reloaded isn’t the same as playing P3 on PS2 or PSP.
I guess I will just have to whine on the fill in the blank section the next time they release a questionnaire asking what we want from the back catalogue.
Having played through it, probably the biggest problem is redoing all the cgi cutscenes that feature the MMC. These were presumably outsourced. Second would be getting VAs back to do more dialog. Really they should have saved a ton of money and planned for it from the beginning.
Hey, they just figured out how to do dlc and cross platform releases. We should expect some learning curve here.
So far episode Aigis the answer is fun but damn if these enemies are kind of annoying with the total health pool and no weaknesses especially for bosses. It doesn't feel like a challenge boss more like an endurance boss. The story is enjoyable but I think I am only about half way through based off achievements.
The ranged attack in dungeon has gotten me in trouble a few times when it didn't lock on to an enemy so they got first hit.
I rolled credits with 328 hours. Yeah I was killing the reaper with one shot. Everyone was maxed level and most of my personas were maxed at the end.
Three hundred and twenty eight??
So, pretty good game then?
I only have 127 hours and that's P3R plus the dlc with a few months of new game plus to set up for a second playthrough to achievement hunt at some point.
Wow! I think my accumulated play throughs across P3, P3P, and P3R might be around 300 hours…
