Damn, we just finished binging Homecoming, and it was a doozy of a story. Julia Roberts was outstanding, as was the production.

Sam Esmail, the Mr. Robot creator directed and produced the series, and it did have a Mr. Robot feel to it.

It’s 10 episodes long, and oddly, the episodes run at just about 30 minute, but they pack a punch. I didn’t realize it at the time, but, apparently the series was created as a radio play and distributed as a podcast.

Definitely worth a binge.

This was a podcast before it was a TV show. I listened to the podcast awhile back. Have only watched a couple of the episodes, but it seems to be following fairly closely.

David Schwimmer and Catherine Keener were in the cast of the podcast.

I’ll give it a go. Both Mr Robot and Homecoming seem to deliberately go for a neutral even dull look and it tends to put me off. I’ll try to push through that initial impression.

Well, I'm only 3 episodes into Homecoming, but I'm really digging it. I think at this point I'll watch anything Sam Esmail wants to make. The look of his shows is so distinctive, and apparently right up my alley.

Been burning through Downton Abby. I'm currently on season 4 or 5 and they had about four babies. Every time someone gets pregnant someone dies. If they didn't take it so seriously each time I would think it is some kind of dark joke.

We finally started The Americans last week. It's really good.

I've been wanting to check out that show for a while. Instead, my wife and I started Luther, and it is awesome.

Enjoy the ride! It's an amazing show.

The Americans was great up until the main lady changed her hair. Can you say fashion disaster.

Didn't that happen in Felicity?

I really enjoyed Downton Abbey, though there was definitely some crazy things like the babies from time to time.

Using the second screen while I play, I've been able to burn through all of SG: Atlantis. With this, I've officially seen every single episode of Stargate ever.

I still prefer the movie.

Playing and watching a series at the same time? That's some powerful parallel processing.

The Americans is one of the all time greats. I'm still think about the finale occasionally.

I didn't know the last season was finally available, yay!

Yeah it dropped on Prime a few months ago and I binged it as soon as I could. So so good.

It also stars TheHarpoMarxist in, I believe, episode 6.

Anyone have any clue as to why Prime stopped working on my Xbox One X? Works on every other device in the house. It will open and show me the app, but any video I select just turns into a gray screen.

Have you already tried uninstalling, reboot, wait five minutes, reinstall?

Wait, what?

Maybe more than one episode, actually.

Rats, I was kinda hoping TheHarpoMarxist was actually Margo Martindale.

You weren't supposed to tell anyone! Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag, now.

Esteemed character actress and deadly fugitive Margo Martindale?

Keep an eye out for me once you hit Season 6, I'm FBI core and in a bunch of episodes.

I finished watching Life and Fate. What a great show! It is based on Vasily Grossman's novel on the U.S.S.R. during the second world war. Very haunting.

If that time period interests you and you don't mind subtitles you can't go wrong.

I stumbled on Annihilation in the Amazon recently added Prime movies last night.

I really liked Annihilation. Worth checking out if you missed it in theaters.

Great books too!

Definitely recommend the movie as well.
