Walter mentioned it as theory in the first episode, something he "posited in 1976 that it is possible" and that he used it to extract information from a corpse, once. There's a matter of getting the tank, the brain probe, and the drugs all being combined. Massive Dynamic was already set to do it.
Dunham and Walter had literally just done the tank procedure. They were ready as well.
Considering the entire show seems to be built around Walter figuring out things instantly and replicating decades of research and refinement in mere days and Dunham being the most dogged of agents who will stop at nothing and take massive risks to get the job done, their failure to question dead Scott just struck me as very out of place. Like character breaking out of place, especially for Dunham.
They've got full episodes of Key and Peele up free for Prime members now. Most of the best segments are up on Comedy Central's website, but there's more than enough good stuff in there to make them worth watching. Highly recommended if you like things that are funny.
If you miss Gilmore Girls, Prime now has ABC Family's Bunheads. It's the same creator, and it features the same fast talking dialogue, pop culture references, and quirky humor as Gilmore Girls.
Ha! I just watched it yesterday! Nothing like a pre-comeback Dennis Quaid and a pre-cosmetic surgery mishap Meg Ryan. And I totally forgot that the Doctor from Star Trek Voyager was The Cowboy.
I was also pretty danged impressed with how well the visual effects held up after all the years. Those ILM guys did an excellent job with the models and effects.
Grimm Season 2
The Italian Job
Apparently the original Italian Job is on instant watch too.

Ooh! I think I'm finally going to find out how well those hold up.

Glad I could help! I always forget to visit this thread...
Nice. Guess I'll be watching that for the next few weeks whenever I have a free 22 min.

Very well indeed
Also:
I have Amazon Prime now. First thing I used it for: Marty Stouffer's Wild America. So good.
Have we found our new Supernatural/New Girl GIF thread?

Love that show so much... grew up with it, bought it on DVD, didn't know it was available for streaming. Thanks!

I grew up with it too! That theme song and the bighorn sheep butting heads will forever be ingrained in my memory. For streaming, it's not on Netflix or Hulu. I was really happy to see it on Amazon Prime IW.

This is going to be a thing.
is there a gif off thread somewhere? I would like to see contenders try and compete with Supernatural.

It's called Tumblr.
My daughter told me that they once had a competition to see if there was any statement you could make that couldn't be represented by a Supernatural gif.

Just fired up the first episode and was disappointed to discover that they had replaced the amazing opening credits with the inferior ones from the Batman/Superman Adventures. Still great to get to watch these again though.
"Season 2" onward feature the original opening. I might be the only one that was hoping for the later opening to be on the final season.
Vampire Santa?

I was wondering what was going on there, too. I kinda fell out of habit with this show around when they started making the Superman cartoons, so I didn't know what the hell was going on when I started watching yesterday.. I figured it was some stupid WB re-branding to better coincide with the more recent Super Friends stuff.
