Is it Jensen Ackles?

He's the Tomorrowverse's Batman.

The Boys Season 4, Episode 6:

Welp, now Batman's ruined and Spider-Man caught a few strays.

That episode was something else.

The Beekeeper was a silly, brainless bit of fun.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Amazon just offered me up a tv series based on the Seth Rogan movie Sausage Party. You know the not very funny one about sentient food.

My questions are as follows: Why? Who asked for this? Who the f*ck approved it? Why? WTF?

Was it after an episode of The Boys?

Same. Can't wrap my head around it.

No. Amazon is one of the apps that is one the first row of my Apple TV. Popped up as one of the title cards. I haven’t watched The Boys since season 1. If I’m guessing it’s because of Fallout.

It popped up for me too after watching The Boys so I was thinking it was a targeted suggestion. But it sounds like they are just suggesting it to everyone.

Isn't Seth Rogen one of the producers of The Boys?

Yeap.

I enjoyed both seasons of Carnival Row.

First season was very cool, but 2nd season was complete garbage imo

Same here.

Opened the Prime app tonight with the intention of watching Furiosa again but was greeted by Rhys Darby’s smiling face and couldn’t resist watching Relax, I’m From the Future. It’s a low-budget sci-fi comedy about a time traveler from the far future who comes back to avert an apocalypse but seems more interested in the creature comforts of the 21st century and fanboying over people who become famous historical figures.

He was on After Midnight last week. Hilarious!

Same. Ridiculous, but great.

I guess the season finale episode of The Boys starts with spoiling itself?
(Not that they were being subtle during this season about what was going to happen anyway.)

We’ve picked up Prime again for a month and I’ll be binging through Fallout, Reacher and The Boys before we relinquish it again.

So far Fallout is so much better than it has any right be. It finally feels like someone has sat down and had a really think through how you adapt what tends to be a paper thin idea or plot into some that really has something to say about what causes ‘fallout’ in the first place, and just how all the future society survival factions might actually interact with each other, beyond shooting the crap out of each other. Although that is obvious something that still happens, but at least they doing it for a reason beyond ‘giving the player something to do’.

Possibly over thinking it a little but it’s great.

It is pretty obvious that the show creators spent some time understanding the creative property of the game. They really do capture the vibe of vaults being laboratories for the uber rich to f*ck with the merely rich and middle class whilst being openly hostile toward the poors. The whole all bad, but discernably different moral decisions thing is perfectly captured as well. They even manage to portray the gameplay in a way that doesn't feel like forced fan service. It is probably the best game to viewed media adaptation ever.

I remember seeing somewhere that Nolan and both of the lead writers were already fans of the games prior to making the show, which likely helped.

Prequel

I'm all for Ackles getting work.

I just wish it was on a show I could stomach.

He was on the season finale of The Tracker, and the show creators said they were open to it being a recurring role. Not sure how many seasons it will last though, I get the feeling it’s a ratings disappointment.

It's quite the opposite.
