Small shoutout for a little Hamburg-based studio I got to know last Summer. They've been working on BeatBuddy - a game I briefly mentioned in the IGF 2012 thread - for a bit, and they've finally found a publishing partner for their debut project. Given the fact that the final game won't be out before early 2013, I was a bit surprised to see that they've released a public demo on Steam today. The basic idea of the game is to let the play explore music in a non-linear way. Last time I met them there still were lots of different ideas about where they're going to go with this. So year, the demo indeed is still an early slice of a game that's not going to come out for quite a while. I'd recommend using a controller.
