Diablo III Catch-All

I can't even get to that stage. Just...it just denies me pleasure.

Going to bed. I'll get up early as hell to play.

Aaaand the Blizzard forums went down

I give up, got to the character creation screen twice but never got past it. I guess it will have to wait until after work tomorrow.

I don't mind some difficulties but nobody being able to get in seems like very poor planning. Also seems like a case where they should have went live 10 minutes early just to spread out the initial hit.

I was wondering why they didn't do what SWTOR did and stagger the amount of people that could get in.

I've been at character creation for awhile now, and am now at over 100 time outs (2 per attempt) while trying to create my monk. This is my normal playtime, the rest of North America who live and work on normal schedules need to go to bed!

I remember Starcraft 2 going much smoother. If I remember correctly they spread that across each of the time zones midnight instead of everybody at PST time.

Hmm..instead of timing out now I'm getting "player has been disconnected error 3005" every single time it connects. :/

Well, I'm giving up for tonight. I'm going to work a very, very short day tomorrow.

Ah, gotta love always-on DRM.

Watched a livestream with DJ Wheat and he mentioned that EU players reported about an hour and a half until logins cleared up and creation worked.

EDIT: nothing to see here

*goes back to spamming login screen*

First two post I saw on facebook today were both complaints about error 37.

Hopefully in a couple of hours the cursed yanks will have gone to bed and we'll be able to play here.

:D

Dooooo ittttt....

Waking up at 3am was a bad idea. What was I thinking?

Hah, that's hilarious. finally got back in, and there are now (max-2) # of monks in my account named Morel.

Sleep Americans... Sleeeeep.

Would someone invite me to the Steam group please? Steam ID: "einoch".

Thought while I was waiting for D3 to work I'd play a bit of TOR - and they're having weekly maintenance. It's a plot, I tells ya.

I saw that earlier today. Had the same idea. I'm wondering if I should make another pizza or maybe take a nap.

I won't be able to play tomorrow. Well, maybe a bit before work but not at night when noone else will be on. Might be able to get a bit of time in Thursday night and late-afternoon/evening Saturday.

Gotta wait for the next paycheck, but if anyone has a guest pass..........................................

I'm tempted... but I probably shouldn't. I've still gotta finish Batman first anyway... only problem is I'm going shopping on Thursday night, so that will be the real test if I can walk out of an EB games without a copy... $88 is still bloody expensive though for a game that no one has yet to be able to log in to anyway.

Oh a similar note, I got an email saying that I've been accepted to the beta for Firefall at exactly 15 minutes after D3 went live. It's like it's all planned!

Well, I was able to log in fine at 5:15 AM EST, then cried as I realized I didn't take the day off.

Enjoy, everyone. I'll try to catch up when I get home

I have been hearing about Diablo for years, but I have never played it. Time to fix that. It is 2012 and I just got my first battle.net account.

I think the Firefall beta offer might be deliberate, unless you weren't being sarcastic - distraction from Diablo for the win, if you're another company.

Day off work? Check.
Slept 9 hours? Check.
Able to login? Check.

Let's do this mother.

Looks like login is pretty painless right now (big surprise, its 6:30am EST) So those taking the day off look like they'll be rewarded. Enjoy you lucky bastards! (Ok I took Friday off to start a long weekend of demon slaying)

You missed me then...

Never played a Diablo game, I did play and loved Torchlight though. If anyone has a guest pass that you are willing to give away, PM me! I'd love to see what all the fuss is about...
