The upper radiator hose on my car blew apart today. Luckily, I saw the steam rising from my engine, and got parked before things got hot.
I figured out what was wrong pretty quickly, and was able to get a replacement hose quickly, but now my car is running incredibly hot. I think my thermostat may be jammed closed. I'm taking it out tomorrow to replace.
Wish me luck!
Oh, and I've decided troubleshooting a car is just like troubleshooting a server, only bigger, greaser, and more hot metal to burn yourself on.
