Giant Bomb Bomb-All

I’m also weird and really enjoyed ME2’s planet scanning. I found it amazingly relaxing. This was before it got sped up too. I also like when they scan because a lot of those moments are really fun conversations between Alex and Vinny. Usually there’s a Dan there so I appreciate the quiet time with just them.

I’d recommend any Playdate (East or West) that has Mary Kish and/or Danny O’Dwyer. The Playdates where they play Jackbox are some of the funniest content.

The GTA 5 heist stuff that's coming out is great. They put a lot of work into the production on that.

It's in the name folks, it's advanced.

Okay public service announcement, there's a FFTA mod called Grin Grimoire that makes it harder and better. Boog is, as always, correct.

I came to ask if anyone was able to get the E3 night shows on their podcast feeds, but it sounds like they didn’t post anything but night 1.

Which is a bummer because I have an hour plus commute, and the extra content is nice.

What? The podcast feed had night 2 on there right now. Night 3 will likely publish today.
.

No good for me. I’ve been refreshing the feed in the (Apple) podcast app a couple of times a day since Wednesday, and only night 1 shows up. I’ve checked the other giant bomb feeds too (aftermath, beast cast, presents, etc) and nothing.

Is it premium content?

I'm using the premium feed but nites 1 and 2 are available as free audio feed.

Nite 3 isn't up for premium or free, I guess they decided to not work further overtime after E3.

I'm pretty sure Alex's car pick in GTAO is a deliberate troll job. It's basically the slowest vehicle in the game one could reasonably choose and maintain plausible deniability that you weren't trolling. It's one step above a garbage truck. Very well played.

It's funny, but I've been getting back into the "Mass Alex" and I too love the scanning segments, since its so often just Alex and Vinny shooting the sh*t. The parts I skim through or straight-up skip are the combat sections; Alex is often too involved to give interesting commentary, Vinny doesn't want to be too attention-grabbing given Alex is trying to succeed and might die, and I get frustrated with Alex never freaking reloading.

Nite 3 is out, btw.

Watching the live QL for the new Hitman 2 map, and man, have I never realized what an insufferable backseat gamer Dan is? Like, damn, man, I get that you want to try to run and gun your way through the stage for some reason, but if Brad wants to play the stealth game like a stealth game, maybe let him?

Have you not watched any of their Hitman content before?

I thought I had, but looking back I guess I was thinking of their podcast discussions, not video content.

One of my favourite things is when Dan tries to backseat game and gets shutdown. When Brad got very confident at Hitman, he'd tell Dan to be quiet because he's got a much better plan. Brad has lost that confidence.

I haven't watched the new video yet, but assuming they're keeping the same format as the other Hitman videos, Dan is playing the role of Brad's "Coach."

Ah, so it's part of the gimmick, gotcha.

Dan is very bad at the Hitman murder puzzle simulator

It's definitely some sort of highly complex power-bottom/role-play dynamic.

This week's GB Crime Crew had me crying laughing at my desk at work by around 10 minutes in. It's very good.

Yeah, I done seen me some bugs in GTAO. I done seen me some of those very bugs, like, once. But never that.

Also, that mission sucks a lot. All the guys around the landing spot tend to rip the helicopter team apart before they can do anything about it. I'm surprised they got through it as quickly as they did.

That wasn't a bug, that was almost certainly a hacker.
