GWJ NCAA Bracket Challenge

It's time!

I have once again set up a bracket for us at Yahoo. Password is stan.

As usual, this is for fun, and open for all Goodjers. I've used the site to send invites to all who played last year. If you could name your bracket with you form name, it helps promote healthy trash talking.

Get to researching!

FYI

Stele has created an ESPN group for folks that want a second bracket to fill out, or maybe don't feel like signing up for Yahoo.

Good luck!

Research? PSHAW!

FSU or USF to win it!

C-A-R-D-S, CARDS!

Big East Champs... and we get sent to Portland?

Oh well, as the committee pointed out, sometimes there just isn't a west team that ranks at a certain seed.

Still, like our draw.

Kush is in this year. 90% of the time, I will pick at least one bracket with Duke to win. That's when the sh*t the bed in the 2nd or 3rd round. This is one of those years I don't pick Duke in a bracket. Last time I did that, they won it all. Just giving everyone a heads up.

Signed up and very excited to defend my title, though this year's brackets don't seem as cut and dry as last year's. Still think that Sparty has the best chance overall to cut down the nets.

I'm in. Now I just need to come up with some tricked-up way to make picks.

Done!

I'm in. Too bad I'm always terrible at picking brackets.

I have spent 11 months convincing myself that I know something about college basketball and the time has come for the annual rapid desent back to reality

I predict a prideful fall for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Michigan will make an improbable run to the Final Four.

I'm going to have to take another pass at all of my brackets on Wed. With play-in games being for 12/14 seeds, there's a possibility of further upsets. Especially that 12.

Given how my last few years of picks have gone, I'm debating just closing my eyes and randomly dragging teams forward.

I didn't pay much attention to non-Big Ten basketball this year so I ended up with some weird picks. I ended up with Kansas and Mizzou in the final. Jayhawker might not want to know who I picked to win.

If you want to cede the points in the last game, it's good with me.

As long as Kentucky doesn't win it, we all win. If IU takes them out, I will lose it.

Sadly IU down a senior key player doesn't bode well for them.

Verdell Jones isn't as key as the media plays him up to be. He's a backup point guard who was more than replaced by Oladipo. I feel sick that the kid won't get to play in the tournament, but I don't think it will be the reason IU falters if/when that happens.

My 2 yr old has Wichita State beating IU

Gosh he is an idiot. Almost ruins the selection show for me with his stupid comments.

After the field gets put up, he says "well I guess winning your conference tournament isn't that big a deal, since 3 of these #1 seeds lost theirs." But he's too dumb to realize the other 2-3 possible #1s like Duke and Kansas also lost before making the finals of their conference tournament, so that's why these other teams got it by default. If 6 of the top 7 teams in the country don't win their conference tournament, then someone still has to be #1 seeds.

We have 27 so far. Last year we had 42. Just two days to get signed up and your picks in.

Whoa. Fab Melo out for Syracuse. Better recheck your picks.

This 29 yr old has Wichita State beating IU

Yes, yes I am a Homer.

I voted with my heart and not my mind...

Best play-in games ever.

WKU comes back from down 16 in the final 5+ minutes.

BYU comes back from down 25 in the first half and down 18 with about 10-11 minutes left.

I'm in, with basically no chance, but isn't that what brackets are for?

I thought it would let me re-enable last year's group, like Yahoo! does, but it didn't. So I just had to make a new one. Sorry for the delay! 22 hours to fill out another bracket if you want.

I decided to go a little more rational with this bracket. I was getting worried because through the first three regions I only had one upset (I did have a 9 and a 10 winning but those aren't upsets). Then, I got to the Midwest and it's upset city. I picked the 10 through the 14 to win in that region. In the end, I'm going to guess that will be my best region.

I'm in anyway, with my predictable prediction of the orange going all the way.

I'm game!
