That is an excellent blog-post.

That's not been my experience. I just hit "update" in either the downloaded AMD driver set, or let Steam manage the whole thing. Works like a duck.

Except the working like a duck part. I have no idea how ducks work, but would assume it's pretty noisy with all the quacking.

I wish it worked like a duck, but in reality it gives me a BSOD until I uninstall manually, so I guess maybe my computer and AMD don't like eachother.

As reported in this article sometimes ducks have issues. http://rubaduck.com/news/rubber_duck_news-200302-duckies_around_the_world.htm

Just how much of a ripoff buying timeshares from the original developer is. Wife and I came *this close* to buying a timeshare from a big hotel chain. Walked away at the last moment, did some research on the web via the free wifi the hotel provided and found out you can buy the same timeshare points for pennies on the dollar o_O

That blew me away when I saw that on TV.

In other news, there's some dude called Ravi Shankar.

You've really never heard of Ravi Shankar? O_o Famous sitar player who just passed away.

For a split second I thought you had simply misspelled Raffi, which would have been equally believable.

The Ikea Monkey. How did I miss this?

As someone put it "Have you seen my monkey? He loves meatballs and is wearing a coat."

Opening a wine bottle if you have no corkscrew:

That's just. Wow.

I've seen that before and I've yet to be brave enough to try it.

This Ikea is 2 minutes away from where I live.

edit: ^monkey in a coat

<- cow in a hawaiian shirt

The last time I opened a wine bottle without a corkscrew (while drunk) I just broke the neck off on the foundation of my apartment building. I am a savage.
