Interesting Kickstarter Catch-All

Armello looks fantastic, but I'd like to know more about their proposed single player before I kick to it.

A representative of League of Geeks has some posts in the forum section of the BoardGameGeek announcement

Hmm, still a bit scant. I might kick a dollar to be able to ask on their comment feed.

Table Titans, Vol 1 is entering the final 24 hours.

The last stretch goal is $100k (current $10k and change away), where Scott Kurtz and crew will do a podcast live play of a full D&D campaign.

Yeah, Tier 1 is only 15 bucks, but March 2015 is a long way away. I've followed it, and will see how close they are to their target come the end of the KS campaign, but it does look very nice. If you do decide to chip in a buck and ask the questions, do let us know

Will do!

Looks like they hit it. I want more D&D videos like this and the secret strech goal of the Tabletop Indiegogo for season 3 if they hit $1 million.

I have funded both projects. I don't know why... but the last year or so I have been really craving more D&D type content... maybe it's a lack of those RPG's on PC... Come on Dragon Age... lol

Armello,

A digital card and board game of heroes and high-adventure set in the fairy-tale animal kingdom of Armello!

With Lisa Gerrard doing some of the music ... ummm, yes!

Worth noting, Mr. Gallop's kickstarter campaign for Chaos Reborn is far from a done deal. If you haven't pledged yet, you should do so. He's got six days to get 40K. There's a prototype available to the public, so check it out if you are on the fence.

Ya, I'm a little nervous about Julian Gallop (X-COM)'s Chaos Reborn as well. Only one day left and they need another $30,000. If it doesn't reach the goal, as he tries finishing the project, what happens to those of us who want to donate at the higher tiers?

I'm not really surprised that Chaos Reborn is stalling a bit. It's over than "big project" money cliff and a lot of modern gamers never played the original. Super rooting for them, though, I want that game.

That ends today? I must've forgot to hit the remind me later button

Three days. April 17.

Oh, good....mixed that up somehow. Still, $10k/day for last three days.....fingers crossed.

Also, I just backed Hero Generations, largely based on prominent praise and attention, e.g. Jon Shafer (Civ V). It's like a standard top-down roguelike but with generational elements from Rogue Legacy and from 4X games, apparently. The one downside: PC/Mac, not iOS.

Re-sharing the Unwinnable Weekly kickstarter. If you have the resources and haven't supported it yet, you totally should. Share with friends!

Four Sided Fantasy

Looks pretty cool puzzle-platformer. Has a prototype and two previous games from the team available for download so you can get a feel for it.

Unwinnable is also doing a Twitch Telethon.

Thanks for the reminder that I should probably find a way to work Unwinnable into my regular reading. Maybe this will help?

EDIT: Yup, this sounds exactly like something I'd read. Backed!

Thanks for the link. That's definitely someone worth blindly donating to.

As for Julian Gallop (X-COM)'s Chaos Reborn, it's reborn! It hit 100% today. Now if we could miraculously hit the iOS stretch goal....but probably out of reach.

WuTang's latest album will have exactly ONE copy made. One. $5 million has already been offered for that one copy. It's an interesting idea and one that will end up with someone hoarding it for themselves or it getting released to the masses on the Internet. Cool experiment.

So, someone created a Kickstarter to pool together enough money to buy the damn thing when the auction goes live.

That's not a bad idea at all. Donating.

So......interesting is the right word. The Dick Tie. It's exactly what you think it is. I can't decide whether to applaud them for their ingenuity or disgusted for being so tasteless.

What? Just.... Wow.

Actually I'm very thankful it isn't exactly what I thought it was...

And yes, it is very tasteless. Will probably sell well.

Less penises. More "are you bad enough to save the president?" callbacks.

Universe Edge - billed as FTL meets Dwarf Fortress on RPS - a single-player, spaceship-building, crew-management, space-exploration game.

It isn't what I thought it would be. I was thinking a tie... for your dick.

But isn't this what a tie is anyway? A decorative phallus that we hang from our necks with no utility whatsoever?
