Count me in. Steam Über Alles.

Edit: hehehe Dampf made me giggle.

Sadly, last I heard the 4-pack was already filled up- I'll confirm though.

Same here!

This image on RPS may just have sold me on BL2. Curse them and their hattes!

That's the manliest shade of purple I've ever seen!

I started playing the first game again just to get a save file and I have since put like 7 hours into it. Not sure to be happy or sad about this. I am neglecting other games but having so much fun.

I think I'll have to do a run before the 2nd game comes out. I'm so excited for it!

Maybe this one I can catch the early wave and find some GWJ multiplay-despite-my-timezone action. Also I like playing support classes...

I'm up for a cheapie 4 pack too if someone can put one together.

How many games have this kind of scenario, where they are finished with the game before it is available, and they get the level designers and coders working on "what's next", only to have Day One DLC that pisses people off? At least Gearbox is able to be upfront about it. I'm excited.

They're also giving it free to people who pre-order. So that's something.

That reminds me, I need to pick a place to pre-order it from...

Count me in for a 4-pack.

If it means getting the Mechromancer out faster I'm all for it.

Went ahead and pre-ordered through GameStop since they have some bonus content. I like how a pre-order online for in store pickup means no money out of my pocket until I pick it up. Decided to get it through the store near work so I can pick it up on my lunch break.

I'm debating whether or not I want the Creature Dome that is exclusive to Gamestop.

If I order through Amazon, it's $53.99 for the digital download and you also get access to the Premiere Club (I think).

I'm still waiting for the Steam pre-order page to pop up just in case there's some TF2 cross-promotion going on.

Also seriously hoping that Steamworks support means you can trade through Steam Inventory because that would be interesting to see what happens to the meta-economy.

Yeah, I'm not jumping one way or the other until I see if Steam brings anything special to the table.
Can I also just say that competing 'exclusive' pre-order bonuses give me a rash.

Whew, the price gouging on the Ultimate Loot Chest for PC has already begun!

Preach it brother.

I am too. What is wrong with us

In light of the recent ME3 brouhaha, it's worth noting that Bioware has had 4 free DLC packs: 3 multiplayer packs with maps, weapons and characters, and the Extended Cut.

1) Paid multiplayer maps splits the community. So they're smart not to do this.
2) The ME3 multiplayer is monetized enough through the random booster packs they sell.

Everyone who pre-orders gets access to the Premiere Club.

I got my pre-order in, but I'm a cheapskate and won't pay for shipping, so I won't be getting my paws on it until a few days later. Find me on Xbox!

Nothing, we've just seen the light that is hatte. Most likely in for a 4 pack.

I'll also be in for a steam 4-pack when it's available.

I thought I was going to have something thoughtful to add, but all I can muster is: I CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT, CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Nothing to see here, move along.
