Borderlands 2 Catch-All

Now that sounds like a fun weekend.

(Holy crap is that a good trailer.)

Yeah, I'm pretty pysched after seeing that trailer.

There's some kind of hype/despair ratio where my anticipation of the game becomes more muted by my unhappiness that I won't ever have enough time to enjoy it like I would want.

I need to stop watching Borderlands 2 trailers. I'm already too pumped for this one.

Sucks I'm going to be stuck working 6 day-work weeks by the time it comes out.

If anyone is thinking of getting a group together for Sat, Sun, and Mon evenings, give me a poke.

Wow, it sound like they intensified the fun for the sequel.

I still need to play the DLC on the original game. Better get cracking.

Very nice trailer. Sir Hammerlock for 6th class?

Oh man, just watched the long trailer. So hyped.

I was going to play as Zero since I liked Mordecai so much, but I liked the Siren's elemental stuff.

Really though I want to play as the dude who narrates the trailer. He specializes in hunting rifles and flies a dirigible.

And walks tall and carries a big stick.

There's still a handful of us who are playing, if infrequently. Hit meh up if you're interested.

We need to get a west coast group together for evenings. I just preordered and can not wait. Hit me up if you like to get a group going or if there already is one.

I had to buy a new video card last week so I've got a Nvidia-provided copy of BL2 all registered in Steam now. I was going to buy it anyway so I consider it a $60 discount off the video card.

I will definitely want to play the majority of the game co-op this time. I bought BL during a Steam sale long after everyone else was done with it, and played through the whole game solo. It was great, but would have been so much better with others in-game. Not gonna make that mistake this time around!

I also got a new Nvidia card and got BL2. Unfortunately, I had already preordered it on Steam, and it can't be redeemed as a gift. I would be willing to work something out with another GWJer, by providing the code at a discount.

If you weren't part of a 4-pack, just cancel your pre-order??

I was part of a 4-pack.

Tscott, sent you a PM.

The new price on the GTX 660 with BL2 for $300 is extremely tempting. I have a GTX470, anyone in the market for that, which will push me into the 660?

Looks like the season pass is now available.

Also the Boderlands Wiki has the skills for the four characters listed now. Might help decide who and how you're going to play. Course it is a fan wiki, so the info may not me totally accurate.

I have a six month old Gigabyte gtx580 going for $250 shipped if anyone needs a power bump or physx.

So, I ordered this from GMG on Monday with their 25% off coupon. I played BL1 solo, but would be interested in joining up with some GWJers on Steam. Is this the type of MP game where you need a mic to get the most out of it?

I'd think talking is half the fun.

I thought that went for almost any MP game?

Now that's how you do an overview video.

Rivals Rockstar's RDR "Life in the West" video series.

Everyone should make sure you are a part of the Borderlands group to make getting a co-op game going easier. If you aren't a member post a link to your steam community ID and we'll get you an invite.

Invite, steam link in sig, thanks

You're a member Harry. We're just using the original Borderlands group. Unless the everyone thinks we need to make a new group.

I'll have to figure out how this steam multiplayer thing works. I'm new to steam (just joined in 2007) so I've never tried it yet. Do you just send an invite or do I need to add a group? I'll poke at it.

The group is invite only. So we will need a link to your profile to be able to invite you.

Steam profile in signature.

invite sent

Hmm, somehow I must have missed that group the first time around. Can I get an invite?

done
