Trials Evolution: whoaw

Not when I went to bed. I was on top of all the ones I'd finished but the last

(I'm sure that won't hold)

My favorite track so far was a medium track that has the water pipes that spray as you get close to them. That was challenging yet very fun.

It's already there, you might just need to change your filter. I know iaintgotnopants and spedmez were the only two I had showing last night, though.

When the servers were working last night, I went back in and redid all the ones that it didn't hold my score on the first time. Still fun.

Sweet. Mine kept on giving me connection to XBL errors and not showing anyone on my leaderboard last night.

For the first set of races I had a ghost name that I was competing with that showed up as an icon that hovered over the track (without a rider & bike). I'm pretty sure the name wasn't on my leaderboard. It disappeared for the second chapter though.

I want to conquer this game like I conquered Motorstorm RC.

This game is my new podcast game. Stick the ear bud in one ear, then play Trials. Hours evaporate.

The last Trials game was the same, and before that it was Burnout Paradise.

Last night the servers became stable for me. More time to platform.

If you guys get a friend request from "Haruspex" it's me. I sent out requests to:

Armchair Jockey
DietOmaha
iaintgotnopants

There were a couple of tracks last night that I spent over half an hour on specifically trying to beat your time.

I'm sending out some requests to people on this thread. my XBL name is "ditchell". I require your times so I can beat them.*

To say the game changes at medium difficulty would be an understatement.

Sounds about right.

There was a certain point, about a third of the way through the Hard tracks in Trials HD, where sh*t got real, to such an extent that to this day, I can't complete any of the tracks beyond that point. Like, hundreds of deaths at the same obstacle. I have no idea how to get past them.

It's precisely that reason why I'm not that interested in the new one.

I just got out of the same abusive relationship.

Seriously. I stopped playing at 2 am last night. When did you asses have time to beat all my times?

I'm just going to focus on beating all of the tracks first otherwise I'll never get through them if I'm constantly trying to beat all of your times.

I haven't even turned on my xbox is like a month, but I may have to tonight or this weekend and download this game.

Love this game, loved the first one too. And I am willing to give my life to it in pursuit of the top of the leaderboards (friends list ones anyway)
Although I'm getting through it much quicker than the first, maybe that is just because I have the skills from the first though.

Gigatrack is nuts. It's a really well done track but it should probably have been split up into smaller tracks. One goddamn climb cost me 20 faults and about 2 minutes in time.

I hadn't used my xbox in so long I had to download two updates when I turned it on.

It feels like the difficulty is overall lower but I definitely know how to attack some obstacles better.

Yeah, I have finished all but one level now and only got like 3 bronzes, rest are silvers or golds. 2 of those are on exterme tracks and the other on Gigatrack. The level I failed at has one of those annoying bits where you have to go up a slope and hop onto a higher level at the same time, always sucked at those in the first game.

Going to go back and get all golds now, then no faults (Which in most levels is the same thing anyway). Then take apart friends times. God I love that aspect, it is like the carrot in front of the donkey, if the donkey was riding a motorbike.

Cleaned up some of my friends list and sent invites to those here I didn't already have. Need more ghosts and leaderboards! Are ghosts just dots, and not models? On my screen they only show up as dots, which I find very weird.

The only thing that hasn't been improved over the last Trials? The music. The rap song in the beginning made me cringe.

That said, I love it and will be playing lots. Feel free to friend me up! BRAPH BRAPH!

After playing for some time tonight, I'm under the assumption that Skeletonpants is not a real person. There's no way I suck so bad that he beat just about every one of my scores

Great game, really loving the challenges. Stuck at 99 medals though, ugh!

You can play user-created maps to get medals.

Yes, they're just dots.

Yuck. I don't see why. They have MP where it shows your opponents.

And Ohama, you're crazy. How do you manage those boosts of speed that get you just that much further ahead?

Was anybody able to beat Loggin On with the scorpion? I hate using the phoenix evo but I need the extra acceleration for the bunny hops in that map.

Oh, right, I forgot there were different bikes. Disregard my previous question.

Skeletonpants. I like that. It's as if iaintgotnopants and I had a baby. And it was really ugly. But, exceptional on a trials bike.

So fun. I haven't even really tried a lot of stuff like multiplayer or much of the skill games.

Some of the skill games are really fun. If more courses are made for them, they could be the best part of the game.

I played a bit of them last night before going to bed, but didn't spend any serious effort on getting good scores/times. Spent a few minutes doing that stuck throttle game. Enjoyed that one. Got gold, but didn't beat your time.

This game optimizes the phrase 'Just one more go'

Loving it!

You don't get to be that good on a bike without having made a few faceplants along the way.

Why do you think we make it wear the helmet all the time?
