GWJ BCS League, Season I (360): Preseason (League Deadline: 1/14/12 @ 11:59pm EST)

WooHoo! That makes us ready to roll!

And we have rolled again. On to Position Changes. 2 day sim, I also added a couple of hours onto the deadline, so it's more like a 2 1/2 day sim period, I think we'll be fine.

Man, I wish they'd let you do this stuff on the web!!

Ready. I'll probably have 2-3 freshmen starting as CBs. Maybe one safety and one D-lineman as well.

Michigan is ready.

got my guys switched around...mostly the incoming freshman are all mid 70's but for freshmen, thats not bad...have a solid team this year and should be even better next season.

BC is ready

Tennessee is ready!

Remaining Schedule
Stage 9: Position Changes (Deadline: 1/11/12 @ 11:59pm)
Stage 10: Training Results (Skip Through)
Stage 11: Cut Players (2-day Sim Period)
Stage 12: Custom Conference (Should be done almost right away)
Stage 13: Pre-season (3-day Sim Period)

I think worst case, this puts us at an estimated Season II start date of 1 week from today. If we can get everything rolled by Saturday, that would be even more awesome.

By my calculations, Georgia and TCU are left. If you guys have already completed the position changes, let me know. Also, if anyone happens to be on and can randomly check to see if those two are ready, please let me know! Thanks guys!

Will finish up tonight around 1am eastern when i get off work.

Time to cut players. Rutgers had to cut 11 players. I got 10 done, and I had to cut two of the players I recruited, lol.

Deadline is Thurs night @ 11:59pm. Technically, it's 4am on Friday, and if I need to wait until then, I will, probably because I might not be getting up between midnight and 4am for Emma's feeding, so it's all go. I'll make sure no one gets screwed on players cuts, don't worry.

Get excited, Season II is coming THIS WEEKEND!!!!

FYI, the Preseason section is only going to be a 2-day sim period. The only things that have to be done that day I believe are depth charts and filling the recruiting board, which can be done in Week 1. I will need some time to configure the schedules, so I may need an extra day for that, but I think 2 days is more than enough for that section.

I think redshirts are in preseason, too.

Yes, they are. I will leave it at 3 days

BC is ready to roll.

ND is ready.

I will get mine done tonight before I go to bed!

Georgia done cutting players. When do we red-shirt next week?

After we finish the cuts, I have to realign the conferences. Once that is done, we move to redshirting.

Michigan is ready!

I am done and it looks like we are ready to roll!

Custom Conferences are set, for whatever reason, it wouldn't let me make Tenn and WVU a rivalry game, same with Rutgers and BC. But I was able to get WVU/BC and Rutgers/Tennessee, so that works for this season, not sure why I cant switch them. Oh well, ON TO THE PRESEASON!!!!

The coaching rivalry continues!

All set and ready to roll. Also I'm I the only person that's the first few weeks of recruiting so many people and such little time.

Not only that, but for some reason, it also scheduled a WVU/Tennessee matchup that I can't change. So you two will get 4 HvH games this season. Sorry!

Oh don't you worry, you will get a game either Week 1 or 2, I promise!!!!

I'm done redshirting. I'll deal with recruiting at some point...but that can even be done in week 1, so I'm ready to roll!

Preseason Rankings (League Teams):
1. Notre Dame
5. Michigan (BUUUUUUUUUURN!!!!!)
6. TCU
19. Georgia
21. Tennessee
24. Boston College
41. Rutgers
45. West Virginia

Side note, Marshall is ranked 49th, thanks to Zellbrige!

1. Over-rated!

5. Man, where's the respect?

I wish they'd let us vote in the coaches' poll!

OK, so I made a decision. The XBox gave Shag and Zell 3 Human-vs-Human conference games, and any scheduled conference games are locked. Since Zell is ranked last of all Human teams, I thought this was unfair to saddle him with 4 Human opponents. So to avoid this, I gave Boston College a 4th game (since out of WVU, Rutgers and BC, BC was the highest ranked). Believe me, I would love nothing more than to give Michigan or Notre Dame an extra game, but I wouldn't be able to schedule any inter-conference games, so it had to be either WVU, RU, or BC.

So, with that said, here are your HvH matchups for Season II (99% final):

Week 2: Rutgers at Tennessee
Week 2: Boston College at TCU
Week 2: Georgia at Michigan
Week 3: Michigan at Notre Dame
Week 4: TCU at Georgia
Week 4: West Virginia at Tennessee
Week 5: Michigan at Rutgers
Week 6: West Virginia at Boston College
Week 7: Tennessee at Georgia
Week 11: Rutgers at West Virginia
Week 11: Boston College at Tennessee
Week 12: Notre Dame at TCU
Week 14: Boston College at Notre Dame

Weeks 1, 8, 9, 10 & 13 will be 4-5 day sim periods, as there are no HvH matchups. There will only be 3-4 games for Week 1.

agreed...Im happy to see Marshall in the top 50, but come on...I won a bowl game against FSU, placed 2nd in the Big East, AND finished 12-3 on the season. That seems a little low for a school that started last season ranked 92 to do all that and only be ranked 49th. Seems a little disrespectful if you ask me.
