A good HD LCD TV for gaming

I'm looking for a 32 inch HD TV for gaming (and to occasionally use as a TV) but I'm at a stage in my research where the more a learn, the less clear everything gets. I was going for the Sony KDL-32X523 but an in-depth review I read at the last second wrote it off as a gaming TV because of the lag. The same site recommended two TVs (Toshiba 40RV753 and Samsung LE40C580) but they seem to be discontinued and replaced with lower quality versions.

Does anyone have modern HD TV they are using for gaming that might have a 32 inch version? I'm not hyper critical of sound and vision. If it's good enough for you I'll probably be happy with it also :).

EDIT: After some more searching I think I may have a candidate: LG 32LK450U. No Freeview HD but it sounds like it's a solid gaming TV. I'm going to try and find one in a store to see what the picture is like.

I have a 42" Vizio, but you could easily step down to a 32" Vizio. I think the world of it and was looking at a smaller one for downstairs, but then I ditched TV, so no more need to buy one.

I'd post and read in this thread.

Brilliant thanks.

I did try searching for a HD TV thread (and found two defunct ones) but I clearly wasn't very thorough.

It's kind of hard to search around here sometimes. I'm not sure if there's a lot of 32" talk in the last few months or not.

I'm using the LG 32LD450 and love it. It replaced the very well regarded NEC 20WMGX2 in my setup and exceeded just about all my expectations. It's discontinued now, but, from what I understand the 32LK450 is very much its successor. AVSforum has a thread on the xxLK450 series here that might be useful.

Thanks. I took the plunge and got the LG. It's superb.

Edit: Too late to the party
