So, we got lots this week. New content, new look (transmorgers) and new gears. Let me know if I made mistakes. I want to get folks up to gear so we can run a couple of groups. It would be awesome to get 2 fully geared 10mans going on one night. Then we could pug 5 folks only in LFR.

New folks, old folks (that includes me), returning players, anyone interested in raiding, sign up. I know we have a few that are close to gear levels needed to raid. Tell your friends, family members, random cool puggies you've met... if they want to come have fun with us, they are always welcome.

I'm available for rDPS any day except Friday and Sunday.

I can go Tuesday and the weekend. Although I can't start Sunday until atleast 730 server time.

Open- Tues, Wed, Sun

4.3 Patch this week, so Tues could be a bust due to lag or servers...

I was wondering....if 4.3 does come out, are we gonna try and do a lfr group as well for a shot at extra raid loot rather than attempt to go it alone with a total pug?

With the groups I've been having in lfg....an aneurism is surely in my lfr future.

Youko + alts.

Not Sunday, I got another date.

Carg, pretty much every day this week. Wednesday may not be possible, will get back to you on that.

I was shocked to find that the ilevel requirement for LFR is 372, so although most of the people who have been doing Firelands every week are eligible, it leaves out almost all of the alts and substitutes. Although it would be nice if the guild could put a decent attempt together - a few tanks, some healers, some DPS, and let LFR grab the rest - we might need either to cheat the system and stack our bags with some shiny new crafted high-level PvP gear, or spend some time running the new 5-mans to try to get some upgrades (since they drop Firelands-level 378s).

rant or kel. whenevs.

Got my spriest (Gannon) for FL and my frost dk (Ganon) for 4.0 stuff.....anytime except for Sunday.

zeroKFE - rDPS, liability
Tuesday/Wednesday: 7 - 10 PM I can do ONE of these nights the full time; I could potentially do a second, but I would probably have to leave around 8:30 PM or so.
Sunday: 7 - 10 PM

Other trinkets and tier tokens (ie, Staghelm and Rag) I have everything I can get out of Firelands, so while I'm happy run whatever you've got for me, I'm also perfectly happy to step aside so that some of our less frequent raiders can get in on our farmed FL fights.

Ret pally DPS main - Narayan
Arcane mage DPS alt - Nemyath

Stick one of those toons into one raid, whenever. I am, as always, willing to step aside for those who need runs.

Same here, especially since it was at 365 on the PTR just last week.

I am just barely over the 365 barrier as it is -- 366, I think. I've got a minimum of i359 in every slot plus a couple of pieces that are a bit better. Even after I pick up my second piece of T12 gear, I'll still be short of 372.

JPs are easy enough to come by. The VP nerf hurts. Grr.

365 was the number I've seen tossed around as well.

Time to do some investigorating!

Until Carg's post, I was under the impression that the LFR minimum was 365. I saw the 372 figure on the MMO LFR page. I'm assuming that's true, or certainly close.

Ironically, even though you can't buy Tier with it anymore, VP is actually easier to get in 4.3. All the random heroic dungeons give 150 until you cap at 1000. Previously the 4.0 randoms only gave 70 and you could only get halfway to cap. Zandalaris gave 140, but now you only need to kill two bosses to proceed to the final area instead of four, so they should run a lot faster now. And the three new 5-mans all drop 378 gear that I'm sure are upgrades for many people.

The other thing is that the main hand and off hand are the only slots that do NOT have VP items for sale (although I should point out that the ranged weapon slot items include only Relics, Wands, and Thrown Weapons, not Bows or Crossbows - sorry, Hunters), and all the items are the 397 variety. So since there's no Tier to purchase, you can just upgrade whatever it is you want to replace, assuming the replacements for sale don't totally suck for your class.

I was just going by MMO-Champion, but according to further research apparently at one time it was 365, and they changed it in a later PTR build (for reasons unknown other than to annoy us).

And Jorrn hits me with a 2-second Tannhauser, at least for the second part.

D'oh! Forgot about that part of the change, which is actually a pretty major buff. Never mind.

Guessing I'll be around any day this week.

Only maybe is still Thursday - will know by tomorrow.

Lawk is free any night this week. Just no more than two please.

Shanker

Weds / Thursday.

Schedule change this week so no Sunday. (Hahaha. I'm actually laughing as I write this.)

Arcane mage Chuda is ready when you are. (Now hit capped for her pleasure!)

Going back and reading the LFR feedback thread in the PTR forum... I would guess it would be due to how awful the PUG's were doing.

As I alluded to in an earlier thread, I have three mostly competent tanks that I will gladly utilize to help gear up raiding guildies.

PUGS *always* suck.. its why they're named after a dog. (just kidding, even if their noses are pushed as if they keep forgetting that glass can't be walked through.. wasn't that pugs? Anyway)

One word for my shaman Blue. Available.

Jey/Cin.

Available Sunday and possibly during the week (e.g., schedule someone else if possible, but can run 1 time if needed to get group going).

Edit - availability increases later in the evening (e.g., after 8 server to 10-1030 server).

bump so it shows as new for folks

I will be running Reap on Thursday as my tank.

Wednesday is still kinda iffy for me. Yes, I know it's Tuesday already. No, I still don't know yet. I probably have someone coming over around 9 - 9:15 PM server or so. The thing is that I don't know yet when exactly they're coming and if they're sticking around for 2 minutes or a half hour - although I suspect the former, and I know it almost certainly won't be longer than a half-hour. I might not even know if they're coming or how long they're going to be here until they leave their place (sometime before 9 PM server).

I can go anyway and just let everyone know what's going on that night when I find out, but be prepared for the possibility that I might have to jump ship for a half-hour just before 9ish and Lawk and/or Sel might have to fill in tanking for me. On the other hand I might not have to leave at all.

Also, 8 pm server start times? I guess should all be on time, at least, and it's less time banging our heads into the walls in frustration.

My head hurts...

Posted some later times this week so we don't get burned out. Posted alot of nights compared to the usual. Did this so we can get everyone a run this week. (hope I didn't miss someone) I really want to get folks opportunities to be geared up and ready to raid if they so choose.

Carg- I think we can be flexible for wednesday, I'm not that big of a douche. Thanks for throwing it out there for everyone though so we know in advance.

For Rags.

I'm not sure if I was just slow on the uptake, but the spawn time of the sons is dependent on their distance from the hammer. So sons that are closer to the hammer will spawn a little sooner. With this in mind it is probably a good idea to have melee take the close ones and ranged take the far ones (or at least melee with good mobility).

Yeah, that's how me and Shank have been handling the left side for the most part.
