The Playstation Vita Catch-All

The download list being the only way to re-download content after the stores shut down is definitely going to be a pain. I re-downloaded some things on my PSP not too long ago, and it was frustrating. Scrolling past PS3, Vita, and movie content to try to find my PSP games.

I would love it if the damn PS Download page would let you filter by platform. I hate that when I hit the store on my Vita I see pages of my PS4 games and have to scroll like crazy to find the Vita games.

This is weird. I have never seen any of my ps4 purchases on the Vita download list... All my old PS3 games yeah, just as annoying, but different.

Also loads of cosmetic add one for random PS3 games have to scroll through,...,...,...............

I don’t have a lot on my vita, but I love the system. Anyone have some recommendations for purchases to make before they drop the hammer?

This post on the previous page is a good place to start.

I'd be remiss if I didn't point out Klonoa: Door to Phantomile.

I'd think I'd have a long list of PSP and Vita games to recommend but I don't. Used the Vita for PS4 remote play more than system games itself I think.

Somehow I assumed they would still leave the store browsing and product pages intact with just the purchase options greyed out. But only having the download list available would be next to useless.

I used to use the web store to queue downloads to my devices back when that actually worked.

Wait, I thought that Crisis Core was UMD only?

You'd be correct This was a great reminder for me because I knew I owned FF3, but for the life of me could not remember for which system

Odd, I can see prices in the Store on the PS3, but the button to buy is missing. Anyone else encountering this?

EDIT: It's where it should be, just invisible.

Yes, you’ll need CFW.

I hacked mine this weekend and I have to say I really like it so far. That's a giant screen for GBA games. I purchased a custom refurbished GBA with an IPS screen a year ago and now I'm debating selling it.

GBA games are just gorgeous at that size.

Aye, good news for my Vita. I wasn't keen on hacking it for fear of knackering it.

Probably not for long though.

That’s very surprising!

Indeed!

The March announcement certainly sent me stampeding to the PS Vita store. I probably spent a hundred pounds on games (most of which I'm unlikely to play as my Vita is very much my travel console). I doubt that I'm alone.

I agree with bobbywatson that this is likely a mere postponement. I give it a year/18 months...

Too late for me that backtrack. After receiving the email I decided to check out how to hack my Vita and it is now fully done with all my games on a much bigger card. I've also found a way to get my old PSP games onto the Vita which is a big win.

I also tend to agree on this being a postponement rather than anything else...

I'm guessing they are also concerned with people becoming nervous around the PS4 store, even perception wise. That has to be a cash machine for Sony.

Damage done, honestly.

Nuking the the Vita/PS3 on the web store (along with easy access to my wish list) was the big one for me. Plus whatever they did now continually redirects me to the Japanese store regardless of being logged on. Super annoying. While the web store existed (with ability to queue downloads on your devices), the fact that the stores on Vita/PS3 are garbage was not such a big deal. Why I would ever need PS3 content flooding my Vita download list, I still have no idea.

I've never understood this. Most annoying is scrolling through dozens of football kit add-ons for a decade old PS3 game (pes I think) that I never actually played, maybe unwanted ps+.

Edit. Deja vu, scrolls up... Yep I complained about same thing a few weeks ago! It gets to me that much
