OMG, three of my favorite offspring songs... /slam dunk!

Never listened to Offspring so I'm fairly disinterested. But the Police DLC from last time is so good, I'm still busy playing that. Really interested to see how long this DLC train keeps chugging along.

My game broke? When I put the disc in, it loads up until the Rocksmith logo displays(lower right) on a black screen... But nothing happens. Any ideas?

This may be of interest to some.

PC version!

Can't wait - any details?

Nothing yet, I believe they're supposed to talk about it in this afternoon's E3 conference.

I've been playing the sh*t out of this recently, but haven't really felt like doing a challenge song. I just inherited an old used Mesa Boogie tube amp that has me playing more guitar than usual.

I'm hoping that there is an acoustic set coming out soon - you would need a pickup in your guitar but it is something that has not been done in music games as far as I know.

Also to create jealousy and rage on the forum I just picked up a Gibson J45 True Vintage. MUAAAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'd actually buy the PC version; I've discovered that, as my 360 is in my big TV room, it's become my "play" room and I can't do anything productive in there. Brain doesn't seem to want to work that way, I inherently relax the moment I walk in there and can't apply myself (which is why Rock Band Pro Mode was a waste for me). PC? I can hook this up in my office and actually apply myself.

Amazon says October 16, but the PC version's been delayed so much I keep waiting for it to be officially killed off. Was anything announced at E3 specific to it? Can't find any news.

Nothing happened at E3 yet. The Rocksmith forums were full of pitchforks and torches yesterday as people were duped into watching the Ubisoft conference for Rocksmith news. Apparently there's supposed to be announcements at some point today though. My guesses are news on the PC version, the bass add-on, and Queen DLC.

I picked this up again the other day as well. Was really enjoying rocking out until I busted a string. So I hooked the acoustic up.

I have an acoustic/electric Fender with a 3-band equalizer. I think I got it for around $300, so it's decent quality. Will it work well with this?

Sure. I use a guild acoustic with a pickup just fine. A lot stuff is easier on electric (big bends, bar chords, etc) but the software will handle it just fine if your hands can deliver it!

Yeah, I use my Takamine acoustic/electric with it, no problem.

Well, I can't deliver great bar chords on it now, so that may pose an issue. Then again, it's a great reason to buy an electric. I sold my GAX70 TR when I moved and I miss it.

Man my fingers hurt

My family was nice enough to buy this for me for my birthday, now that I've given up waiting for a PC release. After 4 hours of play, I've been reminded how little practice I've had recently, but I think I'm in love.

Okay! Finally saw some info of stuff I was hoping to hear about during E3.

If RS finally lets me set a speed and just loop at that until I want to quit I will be very happy. As it is now I've just been playing it more like a game because it actually works against you if you're trying to master songs.

I also saw some comments that they're revamping the DLC UI. Hopefully they come up with a better way to list songs as well. It's a nuisance navigating through the library to pick specific songs.

Okay, the Queen DLC pack is out:

Bohemian Rhapsody
Stone Cold Crazy
Fat Bottomed Girls
Keep Yourself Alive
Killer Queen

That'll do, Rocksmith. That'll do.

It's a weird feeling playing one of my favorite riffs from Hanger 18 on a real guitar six years after I was playing it in Guitar Hero 2. Thanks Rocksmith.

Wow, this Queen pack is an ass-kicker. That's some long term content.

I'm about ready to kill a mofo if it would get me the ability to set the speed in RR and loop it indefinitely. Hurry up, September!

Not bad.

After we move, this is on my to-get list.

Oh yeah, DLC Day.

Lamb of God - Rednec
Finger Eleven - Paralyzer
The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love

Just got my copy yesterday. I'm terrible at it so far -- looking forward to getting better, though.
