"Orcs Must Die!" Catch-All

Pages

Well, I'm not a parent, but the violence is very cartoony. If you're okay with him watching Bugs Bunny, Orcs Must Die is probably okay.

Sooooo, My son has asked me to buy this for him. I have a parental dilemma, He's 8.

He has played games like Skyrim (supervised), Team Fortress (no chat sound), has played some MMOs like LOTR, Wizard101, etc..
Global Agenda, Watches me play Guild wars, Tribes, etc.

So my question is how old have you let your child play Orcs must die? I don't really have a problem with it myself, but my wife may say WTH?!

So ya, i just need a second opinion.

Edit: Just found out that you can turn off Gore.

Agreed. I bought it and the fact that you can durn off the gore made it a no brainer.

You should use your profile for that, gregnorg. It's unwise to plaster your email where anyone can see it (even if you don't really use that email). (Edit: Actually, forget the email, that's your Steam account name. You don't want people to know that)

If you go to your profile and hit "Edit my Profile" on the right side, you'll have a neat little field where you can input a custom URL (like this: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Hyetal).

Edit: Speaking of which, it's not possible to invite someone to a group using an account name, so we'd need a link to your profile anyway.

Yeah, I was pretty late to the party, too (started playing in November). I love tower defense, but Sanctum turned me off to the idea of 3rd person intervention, so I just assumed OMD was about the same. It's not. Add me to your friends list. Chasing (or at least comparing) leader board scores is a lot of fun.
