[trailer] Avengers! My day is made

Did it get a mention in that mixtapeplaylist movie?

I don't think so. I remember a reviewer specifically mentioning how someone with Dennings' "assets" shouldn't have had to work so hard to get Michael Cera's attention. Though I do remember one movie poster looking like he was staring directly into her cleavage.

Speaking of women, I did read that Black Widow is the only female member of the team. Seems like they are bringing in a lot of supporting players to make up the difference. I wouldn't be against them using the movie to introduce Wasp, but I know these ensemble flicks can have a difficult time giving everyone enough screen time. Then again, X-Men First Class managed.

Still, I hope Jeremy Renner doesn't get screwed. I kind of hated how tiny his part was in Thor. Not that I wanted him to take over the film, but it was barely more than a blink and you missed it part. Hawkeye has always had potential to be cool and I think they got the right actor for it.

I also wonder if Thor doesn't look quite so impressive with the equally physically imposing Chris Evans standing right next to him.

^ = hilarious.

That was excellent!

It have been awhile since we have posted in this thread so here is you super bowl trailer! Extended version anyway.

"I have an army."

"We have a Hulk."

They've captured the comic book spirit. *squee*

My only concern is for potential crappily implemented & gratuitous 3d.

I watched again and still loved it but I don't understand why when they are all in a circle Cap has his mask on. None of the others do. If wearing a mask is to hide you "day job" identity then a mask make no sense for him. In fact the only people who would have secret identities to protect would be Black Widow and Hawkeye since Stark admitted being Iron Man. It just seemed odd. I wonder if it will be explained.

In the old comics the mask had protective capabilities as well as concealment value. In this day and age, all bets and maybe they just think chicks dig it. I don't know.

Do they? I mean, do chicks dig masks? *makes notes*

Well.... they are terribly comfortable.

I dig it, but I still don't Cap's outfit. It's like a more childish version of what we saw in his origin movie.

Cap looks funny, Hawkeye's outfit isn't distinctive enough, and I'd have to think Black Widow would be carrying a slightly larger gun than that.

Also, SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Bow-guy looks laaaaaame, otherwise this movie looks like it's going to rock

Excited and can't wait for the theater.

You say that like it wouldn't make sense to give him a secret identity after he wakes up in modern day. He's still a dude that needs to live his own life. The government will likely set him up with a new identity.

Fred Rogers?

It's been 70 years. I think he won't be the first Steve Rogers since then.

I've never been much of a fan of Hulk but the last part of that trailer did force a "squeee" out.

I do imagine that this is essentially Iron Man 3 with some Thor 2 and Captain America 2.

I never understood the move towards "Ultimate Hawkeye." Hawkeye's already normal enough; you don't need to emphasize his normalness. Especially by removing his sleeves. That's only a good look if you're an NFL linebacker. Everyone else looks like they've just emerged from an 80's Berlin nightclub.

Is Widow going to keep bending over and whipping her hair back? Kinda distracting.

It's kinda why I want to see the movie.

WHY DID SHE HAVE TO CUT HER HAIR?

Yea, this. Everything else is Squee.

I´m still skeptical about this one. They haven´t released anything resembling any kind of plot, have they? It´s all boom boom, boobs boobs, shiny costumes, one-liners. It looks fun, yeah, a lot, but where´s the rest? Where´s the interesting stuff?

Based on commercials and the previous movies, I believe it's got something to do with

Spoiler:

Loki and Red Skull (maybe?) trying to steal the tesseract that was used to power Red Skull's war machines in WWII.

She looks fine, and this is boner city.

I think the whole mask thing has to do with it limiting the range of the actors' facial expressions. Reminds me how in every Spiderman flick he managed to get the thing torn off.

Thor landing on the wing of the plane and the Hulk slapping one of the ships out of the air was high in "squee" content.

I am curious how they're going to de-rage the Hulk enough that he's standing back to back with them in that circle.

I have the utmost faith that JW can pull this off.

While I agree, it's more like two outstanding cheeseburgers. One of them is delicious(short hair) and the other one is the same, but with bacon(long hair). Either way, the cheeseburger rocks, but the one with bacon is above and beyond.

I think she looks cuter with short hair..
