I can't erase this from my brain. Thanks.

Will Romo play? If so, how many quarters will he manage before the team doc pulls him out?

I think yes and I think the whole game unless he gets a bad hit. It seems like the whole "punctured lung!!" thing was overblown if they are already saying he is ready to play.

Does it matter that he hasn't practiced yet?
I mean, we talkin' 'bout practice.
My picks:
Texans at Saints
Packers at Bears
Falcons at Buccaneers
Redskins at Cowboys
I need a sure thing wild card since I am so low in the standings. I think the Chargers at home over the Chiefs is the closest thing this week.
Tough road game for the Texans at New Orleans tomorrow.
Can the Washington ground game keep Demarcus Ware off balance?
I think this is going to be a very difficult game for the Redskins, but if they can manage 150 yards rushing and get to Romo, they just might be able to pull this one out.
Saints
Packers
Bucs
Cowboys
Detroit over Minnesota
Almost forgot to get these in before kickoff...
Saints
Packers
Falcons
Redskins
Wildcard: Lions over Vikings
Missed the topic as usual. Gotta put that link in the previous week's thread for us "recent post" people.
Worried about my 49ers. The "10am" game for west coast teams playing on the east coast never goes well, even if it is the Bengals.
Peyton Hillis is out with strep throat for this week.
Texans off to a damn good start in New Orleans, looking to make all you Saints pickers pay!

Gonna hang your hat on a fast start two days in a row?
49ers made a nice early goalline stand.
Love this RedZone channel. Still not sure why I have it but I'll keep watching as long as it's there.
Carolina game in the rain is getting interesting.

Believe me, I thought of that. But all other things being equal, you'd much rather be in the positions the Aggies and Texans were at halftime rather than their opponents.
I am REALLY impressed with the improvement of the Texans D this year.

True. But while I didn't think OSU had a chance of overcoming that first half at Kyle Field, I was not worried about New Orleans coming back, at all.
49ers just had a TD waived off for penalty.

+1 please
Carolina game in the rain is getting interesting.
Since the Bucs are the late game, I'm watching this one. Two rookie QBs, in rain so bad you could sometimes not even see what was going on. It's an awesomely bad game. Gabbert's fumbled a couple of snaps but has looked decent when he can set up in the pocket; the only time I've ever really seen him play before was the Insight Bowl vs. Iowa (his last college game), and he was an absolute machine when he had time and a train wreck when he had to move around. They're clearly calling a very basic game, lots of handoffs and swing passes and such, and at least he's executing pretty well.
Another fumbled snap, that's at least three so far. What the heck? I realize Gabbert's used to getting the ball in the shotgun, but I don't think I've ever seen so many fumbled snaps before.
Edit: The Vikings are collapsing in the 2nd half, and they just went for it on 4th and 1 instead of kicking the field goal. Their plan? Use AP as a decoy, and give the ball to Toby Gerhart instead. Shockingly, it didn't succeed.
Ok I'm happy the 49ers are winning. But they can't let Gore run for TDs?
EDIT: Whoa, Vick's right hand is broken. Return doubtful.
And INT for the 49ers! Might win this thing.
Wow the Browns just got screwed on a BS 'group celebration' call on their TD with :45 to go where the TD receiver fell down and then another player came in and skidded to a halt and patted his back. Instead of a touchback on the kickoff the Dolphins are starting on the 47 and need a field goal to win. I have never seen such a bad celebration penalty, if Cleveland loses it is a direct result of that.
EDIT: Browns intercepted Henne and win, good for them.
