GWJ BCS League - NCAA 12 (360)

I feel less bad about whining abut Boise St's blue uniforms on blue turf when facing Counselor now.

http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/po...

Boise State will not be allowed to wear all blue uniforms for its conference home games, a stipulation that was agreed to when it joined the Mountain West.

Coaches and players have complained for years that Boise State has an unfair competitive advantage when it wears all blue on its signature blue turf.

The main complaint is that players blend in with the field, especially on tape. Earlier this spring on a conference call, San Diego State coach Rocky Long complained about the blue turf, saying, "I think they ought to get rid of that blue turf. I think it's unfair. ... It takes the visiting team a quarter or two to get used to that different field."

I'm glad they are gone from our league, too!

Speaking of gone from our league, I did one small little adjustment to the roster file:

Terrelle Pryor is now no more than a sub-average 4th string Senior QB, and wears the #12. The main reason I did that is the 2nd string QB on Ohio St has an 87 rating, so they won't miss a beat...........much. Michael Chandler (AKA Pryor) will be an awesome bench warmer.

BTW, Stanford got a HUGE shaft in the scheduling:

Week 1- Tennessee
Week 2- Marshall
Week 3- Northwestern
Week 4- Hawaii
Week 6- UCLA
Week 14- Notre Dame

That's a lot of human opponents for an XBox team. SHAFTED!

WHAT DID STANFORD EVER DO TO YOU!?!?!

Not my fault, aside from Notre Dame, they are all locked Conference games.

FYI, I smell a Rutgers/Michigan end of the year brawl. Maybe this time NCAA won't give us connection issues.

I'm excited! That looks easy enough for Stanford, but little did they know.

Yeah, in real life, Stanford could probably take 4-5 of those games with no problems, lol.

Tennesse is ready to knock off Stanford and their bitch of a (Luck)y QB.

For the spirit of not contradicting myself, I checked the Wake Forest playbook once I got the game, and they switched to the spread, so when you play me I'll be using the "Run Balanced" playbook (I think it's what it's called).

I woud like for one game to be Pittsburgh so I can beat Rutgers 3 times in a row.

Too bad I can't sub in just for the Stanford games. Give poor Stanford a fighting chance.

Also, Firesloth have you joined the dynasty I am running yet?

Spy, I've heard tales of your dominance. I can lose to Stanford by myself without Luck looking like Peyton Manning!!

The college game is more of a challenge. I find it to be more strategic and, in some cases, more engrossing. That being said I am more confident in my Madden game than my NCAA.

I am in the Keys of Florida right now and wont be able to sign into the league till sunday night earliest. More than likely i will be able to proceed monday. Sorry for holdin up for a day or 2.

In and ready for the season to start!

I'm in, but I still need to set my recruiting board and redshirt some players. I should do that tonight.

TCU is ready to roll...over and play dead.

I'll jump in and join the league this afternoon.

That's actually perfect, since we wanted to start on Monday. If we have to wait until Tuesday, that's fine too.

OK, so here's the skinny. Notre Dame was defaulted with 4 human opponents that are locked. I figured I would bring everyone up to 4, and give ND and Mich an extra game. That doesn't work. What did work however, was everyone gets 3 games, and ND & Mich get 4.

So, minus your division rivals, here are the extra added Human vs Human games (I won't be able to switch everything until everyone signs up, FYI)

Also, I do not have the Home/Away worked out yet on non-conference games, since I will have to adjust other non-conference games. The games that say "at" below are locked, and there's nothing I could do about them.

Week 4: Northwestern vs Michigan
Week 4: UCLA at Marshall
Week 5: Notre Dame at TCU
Week 10: SMU at Notre Dame
Week 15: Rutgers vs Michigan St (get your popcorn ready)
Week 15: Tennessee vs Michigan
Week 15: Hawaii vs USF

Week 4: Northwestern vs Michigan

good.

At least I should be good to go since all of my human games are at the end of the year.

I'm in, kids are redshirted, and recruits have been boarded.

Oh, and week 10 has been circled on the calendar.

FYI (speaking of scheduling), to get everyone 4 games with HvH opponents, 2 teams needed 5 games. That goes to Michigan and Notre Dame (call it a 5-star prestige penalty, and TCU got off light, lol).

Here's the structure for the 2 conferences:

Big 10

Houston
Ohio St
Penn St
Purdue
SMU
TCU
USF
Wisconsin

Big 10
Legends

Illinois
Iowa
