"Anti-Groping Bill" Added to Texas Special Session
Rick Perry added the TSA pat down bill, which makes it a misdemeanor for TSA agents to touch certain parts of the body during a pat down. Personally I'm thinking well that just states which spots someone can hide items but at the same time, I'm thinking this whole groping thing has gone too far. At least that's what the internet and news tell me.
Currently the state has school finance, healthcare, congressional redistricting (which I thought was illegal since they had already done that last time and it's supposed to only happen after 5 or 10 years I thought), something about Texas Windstorm Insurance Association, and sanctuary cities.
I haven't been paying close attention to the insurance issue, all I know is that if it's on the schedule, I can expect a late night or interesting dialogue.
The healthcare thing was bugging me because the state was voting on using federal funds for medicaid and medicare for other areas to balance the budget.
School finance is always fun to watch them argue over.
To be honest, I haven't followed any of the sanctuary cities bill. All I know is the clip of the senator being a class A douche.
