Finally upgraded my backpacking knife.

The whole state?!

Yes the whole state and, there's nothing you can do about it. ;)

Wouldn't it be easier just to scan and print out a second Colorado?

Now see, these cheap knock-offs just can't compare to the real thing!

Technically bought last month, but I just got 2 new suits, both of them 3 pieces!

One of these honking great things. $250 off for a sale pushed me over the edge.

Nice, Garden Ninja! Three piece suits are the best!

I guess your laptop is cool too, Jonman.

What if I fashion it into a suit. Would you be happy then? Hmm?

You could start by getting one of these skins.

OMG I WANT THAT WHERE CAN I BUY

I was just doing a google image search with something like "laptop skin suit" and that came up. I don't know where it comes from but here was where I found the image.

My old Creative IEM's were starting to fall apart, so I treated myself to an early birthday present

Or do they even still come with pens? :?

No pen. The screen is flesh-only as far as I can tell.

Flesh screen? thought those were phased out after all the complains about the whimpering sobs in the dead of night.
Hows the skin rebound/regrow frequency?

For me, it's showing as an even better price - $270 off with the coupon code GIFTIDEAS, bringing the final cost to $629. My girlfriend and I (mostly her, as I won't be using it much) are in the market for a new laptop, and I'm thinking this might be too good of a deal to pass up.

Picked up my first new new car last Thursday. Had to special order for the turbo version and to get the burgundy interior. It was a hard 6 weeks waiting for the bad boy to come in. Going to LA for Thanksgiving is going to be fun

Sheesh. Whose idea was it to make any washer/dryer with more than 1 knob cost 6 figures?! Luckily, my wife's cousin runs a rental/furniture store and got us a decent discount, but even still, it's a stupidly big chunk of money to clean clothes.

You bought a 100 thousand dollar washing machine? Holy crap man, I paid like $700 for mine. I don't even think my parents paid more than $1500 for theirs, and they got the really nice large capacity steam models.

Well, we paid closer to $700 for it, thankfully, or we'd have probably not gotten that one.

Fingers crossed for it lasting the next 15 years like the last ones.

I bid on these two items from a silent auction that benefits a dog rescue my wife and I volunteer with and won. So not sure if these qualify as silly, but I got both for really good prices!

So as an oddity in my field, I genuinely prefer to write in pencil over pen. My handwriting is much better with a pencil.

These wonderful draftsman pencils fit perfectly in my hand. They are only like 7 bucks.

I just picked myself one more up for home, and gave another to an artist friend.

I used prefer mechanical pencils as well, but at this and the last place I worked at, they were rarely if ever in the supply room, so I'd use my personal ones, but people had a habit of walking off with them. I started keeping them in my pen cup, or in my backpack, which means I never use them. Oddly, the pens I like don't get kept in the stock room either, but those don't grow legs like my pencils did. I had to ask the receptionist here if we had any like I like, and she happened to have a box of them in her desk, but said they don't order them regularly because everyone else apparently prefers the pens that either spew out thick lines, or don't write at all.

My favorite mechanical pencil is the Sanford/Papermate Technician II.
