Post a Picture of Your Silly Purchase of the Month.

It took me FOREVER to find affordable copies of these, but I finally did, and I cannot WAIT to rewatch this amazing series.

7 months later!
I ordered this through the EVGA Step Up queue when the 3080 released. While this model was still 100$ over the base MSRP I was able to avoid both the scalper and the trade war markups.

2 silly purchases this month that turned out to be awesome. I'll start off by saying they were both silly because they came up as Facebook ads and they seemed great. I really had no idea what to expect

Left picture is HomeLine ceramic spray. This stuff is amazing! You clean the surface you are spraying it on, use the primer, then use the spray. I've used it on my granite countertops as well as all my appliances and 3-4 weeks later they still look brand new.

On the right is Cirkul (And if you click my link you get $5 off your first subscription purchase). You get 8 of those flavor pods per month for $27. They are all different flavors. It's really nice because if I'm drinking something and my wife wants a different flavor, she can take out the cartridge and put in her own. You also can adjust how much flavor is dispersed so can make the drink stronger or weaker.

You should've put your Cirkul referral link up there, because you got me to order a trial set (and a steel bottle). Looks like an interesting piece of tech if it works.

Edited my main post. I usually don't like to spam out referral links but I get a stainless steel bottle if I refer 10 people so there's that (hehe).

You will love it. The flavors are really good. I don't drink coffee but got my wife the caramel coffee one. She said it tastes awesome.

Heard tell this is the best stupid action movie of the 80s, so of course I had to own it.

Is that shirt from the finale?

Yeah I suppose it is. I got it on shirtwoot.com. It didn’t occur to me until you said it, but yes, Rex and Ahsoka are cohorts just prior to order 66 being invoked. That’s rad. Thanks.

Soitenly! Looks like they stop selling it in a few days. You can get in in regular tee as well. Possibly on a tote bag. I forget.

Ahsoka Shirt

Not actually that silly, but the market sure is silly!

Love all the trees around the house.

We do too, but it is easy to take them for granted here in Maine; it is common to have a lot of trees even on an in town lot like this (believe it or not this is almost exactly one mile from the very heart of the city center in the third largest city in Maine).

We have the same thing in Iowa. Just corn instead of trees.

Third largest city in Maine is like saying third tallest Munchkin in Munchkinland. It's not even 35,000 people.

Sure, if you look at the actual population Bangor is small, but if we define 'metropolitan area' as the places where a given city is considered to be the nearest 'big city', then Bangor is huge! It covers most or all of 5 or 6 entire counties.

Sure, that is a silly way to measure the size of a city, and as a former Baystater (read as the region-wide name for people who hale from the state of Mass as a Whole < nudge, nudge, wink, wink >) I totally agree with you, but it's definitely possible to make Bangor look big with a sufficiently contrived measure.

agreed the used car market is pretty silly right now so I'm not too surprised you were able to trade in for the house

Add me to the list - market is extremely silly!

I recently bought the HP Envy. Jealous?

Spoiler:

I’m sure you’re not jelly. Yours probably costs 5X more than mine and can run circles around the Envy.

Just here for the Maine solidarity.

Technically, the company paid for it, but I get to keep it.

If this is the next Doge, I'm all set. If not, it's been fun trying

Remember us normal people when you are deciding on which mountain top castle you want to buy with your dragon hoard of money.

I'm on the train too, though I only picked up a measly 3.5 million SafeMoons.

Now I just need it to climb to $1 each!

If we were to measure it that way, I'd say Bangor (hell, the entire state) would be part of Portland's metropolitan area, not it's own.

No matter how many you bought, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a money maker if you just be patient and wait a little bit.

I also just bought 6.6B AstroPup coins for $100. It climbed over 700% in the past 24hrs. Hoping that will be a quick win for me so I can put more into SafeMoon.

Just for a point of reference, I referred my wife to Robinhood in Sept 2018. To get the referral bonus, you had to buy at least $1 in stock/crypto. I bought $1 in DOGE which is now worth $125. I cry when I think about a 125x return on everything else I sold because I never thought it was going anywhere. 100x on my return for SFM would make me pretty wealthy

Or part of Boston, but that is if you are looking for the nearest *actually* big city. If you look at the nearest place that the locals consider a 'big city' then Bangor is about half the state.

Having learned to drive in the Boston metro area and driving in the city regularly, it blows my mind how many people are reluctant to drive in Bangor because they aren't comfortable driving in 'the city'. Having been in the area for about 5 years, I can now tell the difference between 'rush hour' and not on 95 around here, but I had to learn to be able to see it.
