475 Inmates Escape Afghan Prison

What's Pashto for F***!!!!!?

Seems there were Afghan guards and NATO forces on duty. They didn't notice anyone missing for hours. Let me repeat that: they didn't notice that nearly five hundred prisoners were suddenly gone, for hours. At least some of the prisoners were confirmed "bad guys," including Taliban.

The escape was conducted through a tunnel that took months to produce, laid out to weave around any defenses and lead to waiting vehicles.

I read that in the newspaper this morning.

There was a 1000ft long tunnel.

What an improvement. Just three years ago there were more than 900 Taliban that broke out of jail. We managed nearly a fifty percent reduction in escapes in just a few short years! And people say things are going badly in Afghanistan. I mean the numbers just don't lie.

This would make for an awesome film if, you know, the Taliban let people make and see films.

Tune in for the next FOX special:

"Minecraft: Terrorist training program?"

Suddenly that Steve McQueen marathon is looking like a bad idea?

Hah!

Yes the Great Escape theme song is now on repeat in my head right now.

Considering the way our prison system for alleged terrorists works, good for them. I hope they keep their heads down and stay out of trouble.

I see where you're coming from but I think it's safe to say at least a few of these guys are very bad people who probably should not be running free.

Yeah. I would expect at least a few of these folks will be responsible for the death of some innocent in the future (not talking about the death of military personnel).
