It's open, it's free, it's a quick download, it's made by the guys behind Puzzle Pirates and it's a fun co-op dungeon romp with light puzzle elements. What are you waiting for? Taste it!
Previewers seem to call it a mix of Zelda, Guild Wars, Secret of Mana and Bomberman.

Its Torchlight, lite. Very lite. Without the dog, but you do get 2 or 3 helpers that run around, kill things, and don't bark. It would be better if they barked.
Seems fun. Nice thing to check out on a rainy weekend. I'm on there as 'Dingus' if anyone wants to look me up.
Character is "Deadmonkeys". Send me an invite if you see me playin'.
in game as Goldensly and Divinity. Generally on every other night Both are 3*+ equipped characters. Trying to grind out the funds to get to my 4* stuff.
I'm having a good time with it so far, name is Mcgillicutty. Anybody bought the $19.95 starter pack, and is it worth it?
Been experiencing a number of ATI/AMD related (according to the forums) framerate issues and graphical glitches. Doesn't kill the experience but it's annoying.
I just created a character. Cubeknight.
Name in the game is Multra. I made the Gamers with jobs guild, shoot me a friend request for an invite.
We have a guild?
Now that this is on Steam I finally played some tonight. Seems interesting enough.
In-game is Maarek. Friend me, guild invite, and whatever...
I picked it up. Cheetoz in game.

Okay, I think I no longer have interest in the game and I haven't even fired it up.
Way to much lag for me.
heh Garion, there's alot more to what the game gives but the 3 different sections of the climb down the spiral have different requirements to enter. Every run is different so if you enjoy dungeon crawlers is a good game to play. Since I'm not fronting any funds for the game and doing it purely free, I have to get my crystal energy by trading crowns (in game currency) for them. Since the market varies sometimes it takes a little bit more time to get the next upgrade.
Apparently the Steam account version/integration is very good. It has auto-friended me with my Steam friends who have played..
Also thanks to Multra for the guild invites tonight. See you guys in the guild hall I guess.
I'm on: Gwjbill
One thing I like about the auction system, they tell you what similar items have sold for. Maybe other games also do that, I don't play many mmo's these days. I'm not sure what it is, but this game has resonated with my kids and me...hell, my wife even made a character. I can see us investing in the game, but that would depend on the diversity of the more difficult dungeons.
Made a tidy little sum today: Got my first piece of two-star gear (4k sword), 200 Crystal Energy (8k), and left another 4k sitting on my character.
Many people (and the wiki) recommend crafting to earn serious cash, but this doesn't seem to be the case with early items. After a whole bunch of spreadsheet-style calculations, I discovered that most basic items under three stars are crafted at a loss or near-parity in the current game economy: You can sell the materials for greater profit at the auction house.
Official beginner's guide here.
I also recommend changing the mouse key bindings to M1:Attack, M2:Shield, and using WASD to move your character.

You just blew my mind.

Sounds crazy, right?

Does the 360 controller work with this game?
Yeah I think I saw that in a FAQ or on the forums.

That was the first thing I did.

It works, but evidently you have to map all the buttons yourself, I couldn't find any defaults for it. Not that big a deal.
Got 2* equipment now.
Enjoying the heck out of this. As usual all the goodjers I've played with have been very helpful, either loaning me some energy or someone even gave me a 1* sword last night for free. Very cool stuff, and once again the only way I'll play a lot of games is with you people.

Heh I wonder who recommended this to you? XD

The voice in my head.
He tells me to do things.
Sometimes, he tells me to do bad things.
If I don't listen he gets loud.
I hate when he gets loud.
Could I possibly get an invite to the guild, My toon is Hanta.
Im not sure if that is enough info
Well, I've started a crafting spreadsheet.
The descent into madness begins.
Whoa.
Did my first tier 2 run last night. And my friend who has been playing a while tossed me some materials so I could upgrade my Calibur to a Tempered Calibur. Starting my 3* collection.
Having a lot of fun so far. Even if I'm not entirely clear on which gate does what and where to get which recipes and so on... still, having fun.
