iRacing catch-all

thanks. I actually meant that I am terrible at every turn but this definitely helps

I haven't had a chance to read up. Do we know if the new tire model they applied to the skippy alters how the car needs to be setup?

Hah, completely missed that point If you use ispeed, my laps should be posted there if that helps.

I don't think I made any changes last week except fuel. I saw on the forums that some drivers were adjusting tire pressure so that the car felt better.

Iracing has one of their yearly promotions going on - Just got the email:

1 year of iRacing for $49.00

Click on the cart at the top of the screen and use code: PR-EARLYRENEWAL2015

Code can be used up to 5 times. Offer expires June 30th.

They reliably do the same deal around Thanksgiving, right?

I always renew when this promo hits - 50% off is the lowest I have ever seen it at.

Well I had $48 leftover from the $100 iRacing Credit for $75 promotion, so the remainder was about a buck fitty

Between the $49 1 year sub, $75 for 100 credits, and participation credits. IRacing is quite affordable.

I re-upped myself as well. Paid through 6/2017.

Everyone ready to get it on tonight? Gonna be a good one!

I seem to be having issues joining the session - just keeps spinning

redownloading - just oran and skip -ugh hope this works

Nice win Distant!

Good race guys, sorry I was such a bump magnet.

That was good racing. We got a bit artificially squashed up at the front toward the end due to some traffic, but defending my place against Nyxs for the last couple laps was exciting. I'm glad there's only a couple places to overtake there, or I'd have been done.

That was a fun race and I loved seeing everyone so close together at qualifying. Only 1 scary moment for me when Patches spun on the last turn.

Hi everyone. Sorry I dropped off for so long. Life was kind of crazy - ok, very crazy - for a while. Still upside down, but hoping summer settles things out and I can get back to racing. I have 149 posts to catch up on, be back later

No need to read them all - I won all the races. Trust me

Looking forward to seeing you back on the track

Hope things settle down soon.

Still can't find a legal Ruf Track setup They all have problems with the ride height and blindly changing values doesn't work for some reason. Im not doing well with the baseline. Mostly its the back end coming loose late in a turn and I must be trying the wrong thing to regain control because I never do (let off the gas, turn out in the direction the back end is sliding).

Anyone wanna run some Summit Point - Skippy race this weekend?

Poly, have you tried Jon Hall's setup for this season at Zandvoort? I haven't tried it yet but he consistently has quality setups for the RUF.

I'd be up for it. I'll also be hosting a practice session tonight, from 7-9 CST.

I should be free.

Coolness - I'll set one up.

Summit does drive a bit differently in the skip than it did in the mx5.

Will be fun.

Boy, I've been gone for a while. Hey everyone!

I'll be there.

I just installed the GTeye Break Mod. Tonight will be the first time I'll be racing with it so time for lots of spins

Grats on the win Nyxs. You were fast and more consistant than me. I'm surprised I didn't spin a second time trying to chase you down. I am pleased that i was able to break sub 1:22 on a few laps.

The brake mod worked well; it seemed easier to pick the correct pressure when getting to the apex.

As I said last night, great job everyone on finishing on the lead lap. I love seeing everyone improve so much.
