If we are going to be drafting teams, it might be helpful to get everyone's preferred classes, self-identified skill level, number of hats owned, and a link to your steam profile. I'd be happy to create a form to gather this info for people. Are there any other questions that might be useful?
My skill level is OVER 9000!!! Sorry I just had to.

I will make sure the scale is from 1-9000+

Macs work fine. It's all bits on the internet. I've played a few times on the private on a mbp (yay able to cash in on the engi update while away from home).
Sounds good. I guess I'll have to 'borrow' the PC headphone/mic combo from work.

I think Mex probably has one he isn't using
I'll be a captain if we don't do the random assigned teams to captains thing and just have a normal draft...
Also, for the class spreadsheet, I don't know about everyone else, but I have different classes that I play depending on the map and whether it is offense, defense or even a different stage (dustbowl). Maybe we should decide on the maps we are playing first as that would affect my answers to what class to play...

Yeah I mostly play soldier. But also bow sniper if Nuean isn't on my team already. Or sometimes pyro to cover engie, or engie on defense, when no one else is doing it. Sometimes medic. And sometimes I go demo when the one we have isn't getting the job done... but that's not usually a problem on Stan's. So yeah, I don't play heavy, scout, or spy much...
I'm definitely down for this.
I didn't mean to imply people would have to choose just one class. I just wanted there to be an easy way to get a feel for what classes people are comfortable with.
Count me in!
I don't discriminate and will heal a spy of the opposing forces!
Count me in !

I get it, it's like stats for fantasy football. If your team needs more pressure to the quarterback, you look for a DE who gets a lot of sacks and/or double-teams. Makes sense to me.

I know man. Most of us do have a "primary" class. But just pointing out a lot of us help in multiple ways when we can.
Although it would be fun me, and NSMike and FlamingPeasant all together, raining rockets down on some team.
No class preferences here - on pubs I usually go as whatever class is needed, which is why I am hardly ever spy.

Can we trade players after the draft too?
Well, I tend to play Pyro, Spy, Sniper and Medic if it's needed. I'm sure most of the optimal captains knows all this already, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to throw it out there.

I say yes. Both captains will be trying to get what they see as an advantage; should balance out in the end.
Can they trade for cash? Or "future considerations"?

Trade players for hattes. Done deal.
Ok, I made a web form to help collect names, steam profiles, etc. Hopefully this will help Psych and the team captains get this thing organized.

Ooh looks like I'm going to really piss FedoraMcQuaid off in this tournie based on his comments

Nuean lies. He's no beginner. :p
Nuean big noob. Just lucker.
I think we should avoid Payload maps. I think CTF and CP maps give teams a better chance of a balanced fight. I feel like Payload maps swing pretty quickly in one teams favor.
