What are you playing this weekend?

Just played 911 operator and had a blast... for three hours. Fun, but repetitive

I picked this up in sale because it looked intriguing. Will give it a try as I am waiting to play starfield and don't want to get sucked into that just yet.

A bit of a palate cleanse before I get to dig into Baldur's Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3. Just starting and excited.

. Also Dave the Diver

This speaks to my soul. Great choices!

Time to play Baldur's Gate! And by play, I mean I will spend way too much time in the character creator!

I have covid at the moment so I may not have the energy but I’m hoping to play more of a charming little game called Webbed. I prefer my illnesses or incapacitations to be bad enough that I don’t have to go to work but not serious enough that I can’t sit there gaming whilst I recover.

Getting ready for a house move, but hopefully squeezing in as much Starfield as I can.

Pretty much only Starfield. That'll probably be true for awhile.

Yeah for at least all of Sept. Probably until Spider-Man 2 and Mario Wonder release in Oct honestly

More Zelda: TotK, some Gris, some Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets and New Super Mario Bros. 2.

A bit of Old World - up to turn 70ish with the Greeks!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Yakuza 5 hopefully.

The last two nights I have managed to resist buying Starfield. Will that last through the weekend with my wife leaving town? Probably not.

Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain, man...after being frustrated with this one initially, now that my hands have learned the controls (for the most part) and I understand some of the mechanics a bit better--this one has its hooks in me. I am loving it.

Weather will be nice this weekend, and I have lunches with folks on both Saturday and Sunday, so I don't expect to spend that much time gaming but, if I do, it will be Mega Man Legends 2.

Do it!

My meta has bought Baldur's Gate 3, so I'm getting in a bit of dicerolling when they're away from their PS5. Otherwise, it's Knights of the Old Republic, baybee. Just got Bastila and getting ready to escape from Taris.

I'm hoping to get another dozen or so hours logged with Starfield. I'm about 20 in so far and loving it.

Actually scratch that. I was listening to the latest episode if Triple Click yesterday, and one of the hosts brought up a game called Chants of Sennaar. It sounded interesting, I looked it up this morning and, $35 later, I have the game installed on my PC and ready to go for this weekend.

More of this.

MINSC

Starfield. Not far at all. Just landed on Mars for the main quest. Have not had much time to play.

Also eyeing installing the LukeLZ DLSS3 mod for frame generation. Looks like it works great but have read it can cause crashes. So may let that get a bit more stable before installing.

Returnal. After spending the 8 or so hours it took to finish off the first boss I have to keep going. This is one of the most unforgiving games I've played. But I love the game play and the world in general.

I honestly wish you the best on that. I never even made it to the first boss, and I clocked something like 20-25 hours. The game is so gorgeous, and the gameplay is so fun... but it is also so brutal. It took me so long to build up bonuses which would have let me progress with my meager skill. I couldn't take it any more.

I have read that the later biomes are gorgeous too. I wish I had been able to keep going. Maybe now that I've had a multiple month break from it I'll watch some youtube videos just to see it.

I bounced off Elden Ring the same way. Gorgeous game, super fun gameplay, but damn.

Yeah, 3 night in a row looking at it was too many. Bought and downloaded so that I can play tonight after I get the kids to bed.

Starfield - joined Constellation and that’s about it so far. Lots and lots to catch up on.

Dark Souls Remastered - Sean’s Fortress is a great time, I hear.

Finally finished Act 1 of Ghost of Tsushima after playing for a month, so I'll continue fighting the Mongols if I can find the time.

Nice. I love how the environments, rather than just being difficult landscapes, feel like they are specific settings for a scene in a samurai movie: ‘verdant hillside with long grass and bamboo,’ ‘white lilies carpeting misty marshland,’ ‘autumnal forest leading to golden fields.’ They’re all so gorgeous.

Me: "After playing Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, I'm done with extremely long games!"

Also me: already put in 80+ hours on Baldur's Gate 3 while planning next playthrough, with Starfield and Total War: Warhammer III installed while waiting on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Oh yeah and WoW.

They really are gorgeous. I love just riding my horse around and taking everything in.

Baldur’s Gate and Dave the Diver. Two great tastes.

I’ve nearly finished Death’s Door. Phenomenal little game. As a side effect it has renewed my interest in continuing my Hollow Knight play through.
