What are you playing this weekend?

Stevintendo very jealous you get to experience Dark Souls for the first time with the remastered addition. Stable frame rate is the way to go. The way the world twists in on itself in that game is unlike many other games even in this souls series. I'm assuming you're playing on switch?

Yeah it's on Switch. I'm having a great time with it! I've been posting a bit in the Dark Souls Thread. I just cleared Blighttown and I can't imagine dealing with that AND worse performance!

And yeah, the shortcuts are one of my favourite features, so smart.

This weekend, I intend to follow up and dive deep into the plan I devised last night: In March, I'll be playing games based on IP's that were an integral part of my childhood. Hence, Transformers: Devastation, Ghostbusters - the good one -, and some more Lego Marvel Superheroes, which story I already played through, but am chipping away at the Platinum by unlocking every little bit - it also scores as a double whammy, since both Lego and Marvel comics were big parts of my childhood, as well. Calling March Nostalgia... or something :p

A "March to the Past"

The Ghostbusters game is really quite good! I was pleasantly surprised when I played it a few years ago.

Lego Marvel Superheroes is excellent as well! One of the games I happily got platinum. Have fun with it!

My weekend will be filled with Witcher 3 and The Division 2 open beta. Should be fun!

Now, why didn't I think of that tag line? Much, much better hahaha.

The plan is try to finish the story of Saints Row the Third and to continue from disc 4 on my ancient save file for Final Fantasy IX, following listening to a very involved podcast about it.

Maybe try to wrap up INSIDE if I can find the time, but that's doubtful.

I started Ni No Kuni 2 yesterday. I'm only two hours in, but so far I'm having a great time .

I'm hoping to get some quality time spent with Red Dead 2 and continue torturing myself with Bloodborne. I just decided to feed my nostalgia bug and picked up Xenogears on my Vita and PS3. The feels are many!

I'm not really super into anything right now. In the absence of anything really grabbing my attention I'm just plodding through Assassin's Creed Origins, which I like well enough, I find the combat entertaining and Bayak is my favourite 'assassin' in the series so far but.... it's all just very vanilla to me. But hey, it's holding my attention better than anything else at the moment. My brother did just buy Vermintide 2 in a sale so I might join him for a game of that if he asks.

I've just started playing Wargroove and it's everything I was hoping it would be. Obviously it's heavily inspired by Advance Wars, but it does enough different things to have its own identity. But honestly, given that it's been over 10 years since the last Advance Wars, I probably wouldn't even care if it wasn't all that different.

I'll also be continuing on with Yakuza 0. I'm enjoying that one too, but less than I enjoyed previous Yakuza games. I think that says more about me than it does the games though.

Apex Legends. I've never played PUBG, I noped out of Fortnite after a couple of matches, Apex however has it's hooks in. It's fairly rare for a shooter to bite me, but this is giving me the same feeling as when picked up Overwatch back when that released.

It is though releasing at a time when the other shooter I've most enjoyed in recent years, The Division gets a second game and has another Beta this weekend.

Which will win out and get played... ?

Anthem. I'm really into this game, taking my time very slowly.
Apex Legends. Will probably play a couple of matches.
Rime. May try to finish this as my belated participation in the GWJ Adventure Games club.
The Sims 4. Via my EA Access membership that I signed up for to start Anthem, it occurs to me that my 7-year old who loves Stardew Valley might also get a kick out of this.

Barreling through Chapter 3 of Red Dead Redemption 2. Maybe getting to Quarantine Circular since I didn't manage to last weekend, but we'll see.

Trails in Cold Steel 2 I'm still in the early bits. Sort of feels like the World of Ruin in FF6. The enemy has won and you are doing your best.

Salt and Sanctuary At the mid to last part of it. Got to the red barriers and now can get past then.

The Last Of Us: Left Behind Randomly also started this as well. Ellie is still good and makes me more excited about numero 2.

Copied from the pile thread

This weekend, I'll mainly be playing Dark Souls: Remastered. It's gotten its hooks in deep!

IF I feel like taking a break from that, then I'll make a start on Thimbleweed Park, which is this month's pick for our very own Adventure Game Club.

Busy weekend. For Space Game Junkie, I am DISGUSTINGLY excited to finally be covering the full release of this:

This also finally left early access, so I need to cover this too:

For myself, if I have time:

Should be a fantastic weekend.

Dark Souls: Remastered the recent activity in the thread really has me exicited to be playing again. Probably sprinkle in some civ 5 as well a friend just started getting into the series so it will be first time playing multiplayer for both of us.

Sunless Skies. I finally settled on merciful mode with all the difficulty turned down and I'm just enjoying the stories.

Finally beat KH3, and now I am trying to decide between LiS2, Walking Dead FS, and Hollow Knight.

Want to dabble in all these over the weekend, but like my grandmother used to say, "It's nice to want things." :p

The current plan for the weekend is more Persona 5 (PS4). If I get tired of it, I might switch to To the Moon or Bastion, I haven't decided yet.

Yakuza 0- I've been grinding real estate early on but I think it's time to switch back to Majima for a while. It'll pay off later on I'm sure.

If I feel like it I may try the Division 2 beta- I've got a free copy of the game coming so maybe I'll grab the prerelease bennies.

Factorio - I've started a new 0.17 game though I'm not sure if I really want to dive into it after just recently running a long playthrough.

Jump back with some impressions if you can.

I've been scouring for details but have come up pretty empty with definitive conclusions on the 1.0 launch.

Super interested in the concept but want to hear more about the execution.

I've been chilling with

and am looking forward to digging more into

Warframe has my attention currently. trying out new frames and weapons, seeing if theres anything that really works for me.
Will probably check out Objects In Space, been looking forward to it.
then it's a tossup between more Frostpunk or finally digging in to Battletech.
And Overwatch with the crew if people are around of course.

It just dropped today, hold your horses professor.

I had one crash about half an hour in, the same exact type of crash I had pre 1.0. Launch from a space station, pirate says drop cargo, boom, crash.

Reload, no pirate, no crash, runs great, SO FUN, fun writing, great space stuff, like hiding in a nebula while a torpedo was headed my way. It eventually gave up on me and searched for another target.

This is something special.

I'm taking a break from Apex Legends, which has been great but consumed my life for a good two weeks, to hopefully play some more Dead Cells and Deltarune on the Switch. The little bit of Deltarune I played has me wanting to make another run through Undertale.

That, and I'm hoping to play some Horizon: Zero Dawn. Grabbed the Complete Collection when it was down to $10 and need to finally jump in.

I’ll probably be chasing some times on the Rival leaderboard in Forza Horizon 4.
Hopefully I’ll get some time on the tv to play Red Dead Redemption 2. I only played about an hour so far.
Just started act 2 of Divinity Original Sin 2 also.

Rocket League like always...
Maybe some D&D.

I'm in a bit of a gaming rut. So, out of the blue, I picked up Gemini Rue to play on my tablet. It's convenient, and a title I've long-standing interest in, that was piqued whence gifted it - thank you, Archangel - some years ago. Time to delve back in.

It's my first game on a tablet. The convenience is great. Really cool! I prefer buttons to touch screen, mind. This kind of has me longing for a Nintendo Switch.

This weekend I want to tackle Grunty Industries in Banjo Tooie which has the reputation of being the worst level in the game. Welp..

IMAGE(https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/evil/images/4/42/The_Grunty_Industries_Factory.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151207190449)

And I want to reach the 5th palace in Persona 5

IMAGE(https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/-irQb08C5BmC1oivqKNk7CyjmSw=/0x0:1437x771/1200x675/filters:focal(1090x283:1318x511)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/53957967/Screen_Shot_2016-09-13_at_1.44.05_PM.0.0.png)

I might also play through all of the The First Tree depending on how much time I have.
