I'll be finishing off chapters 4 & 5 :
After a very weak chapter 1, chapters 2 & 3 picked up the PC and it's totally growing on me!
Think I might also try:
More Mordor!
I will most likely be playing Night in the Woods, "Unexplored" (which is a super cool roguelite with excellent dungeons) and I've started a full replay of the Mass Effect games, starting with ME1.

Just don't let chapter 4 put you off - it's a bit of a clunker from the gameplay side of things!
Worth it to get to chapter 5 though.
The missus has already finished it and I was more interested in The Witcher 3, but yesterday I fired up The Rise of the Tomb Raider and I'm totally digging it, so that's what I'm playing as long as Horizon: Zero Dawn isn't out yet. From what I've seen, Tomb Raider seems to be a very good preparation for that game anyway.
Better half is away until Monday visiting her bro, so games galore this weekend. I expect my son and I will get plenty of Mario, Lego Avengers and Skylanders in during the day. In the eves crack on with Life is Strange and won't deny myself a bit of Overwatch on the side. Should reeeally get outdoors a bunch too
I should be finishing up my time with Stardew Valley, which has kept me playing more than I expected it to. It has an uncanny way of keeping me interested to improve this or improve that a little, complete another thing in the community center, see what building I can build. I suspect this is the feeling that Diablo is supposed to create for me but doesn't. Who knew I would enjoy a cutesy farm themed game more than killing monsters.
This weekend I've a massive multi-hour streaming event in:
So that might be it for the blog. For myself, some of this with mods:
Plus more of this. Lots more:
As well as more of this:
Should be a great weekend.
Finishing up my no-upgrades run and maybe attempting a speedrun in:
Then picking back up with:
Hopefully going to clean up some old games before Horizon: Zero Dawn and Breath of the Wild
Dammit! I still need to play the most recent episode of that. Too many games.
Pretty much Xenoblade Chronicles X and Night in the Woods.
Time to "dust" off
...because I'll be starting the Dust District. But also because I keep putting it down for weeks at a time.
And getting my anti-grav on with
The goal for this weekend if to keep moving forward in Phantasy Star IV. I may even have time to finish it. I am also planning to get together with a friend and see if we can finish Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. I think we only have one or two areas left, so it should be pretty quick.
If I have any time left, I may start Yakuza 2. Or restart Earthbound.
And now, an unexpected gift of:
More Final Fantasy XV for me--looks like I'm at the end of Chapter 8.
Just when I thought I'd take a break from The Witcher 3, I tried out Blood & Wine for 5 minutes, which led to 4 hours...
Also, Sleeping Dogs. That game is great. I've been to Hong Kong and even though you can see where they cut corners they did a better job of capturing the spirit of the city than any GTA game.

Maybe, when you fire it up, during the loading time, you can choose your tag.
What is this game?

I recently picked this up in hopes of convincing The Wife to play it with me. It could be in the weekend plans.

Nier Automata
Yep! I few of us shelled out money for the Japanese or Hong Kong version so we can play it a couple weeks early since it has the English language option in it. It comes out next month in the US.
I'm flip-flopping worse than the pubs on Obamacare in settling on what Succession Laws are best for my newly unified Kingdom of Ireland. First I thought Primogeniture (eldest child gets everything) was the answer until I got a real dud candidate. Then I switched over to Tanistry (ruler/vassal vote from within dynasty) but no one would vote for my most excellent groomed heir. Went back to Primo before realizing that I married off my eldest to the Princess of Castille in a Matrilineal tie that makes all their children titled after her dynasty.
Seemed like a good idea at the time as I was looking for a nice defensive pact. However, after I changed the Succession Law to back Primogeniture and my current King croaked, I was greeted with a flood of pop-ups saying I was going to lose the throne upon my new King’s death as there were no eligible heirs to take his place. Translation: Game Over.
Whoops.
"Luckily" ( :/ ) my wife the Queen died in childbirth so I was able to quickly remarry, scrambling to welcome a son into the world who could ascend to the throne and keep my game campaign going. Unfortunately though, the new King just happened to be gay so it made having children...troublesome...as his fertility stats were so low. So I changed my Personal Goal to Family and plied my wife with gifts in an effort to get her to fall in love with me (that's how it works, right?).
So the Dynastic Crisis was touch and go for a couple decades. I amazingly got my wife pregnant like 3 times...all girls. You just don't know how crestfallen one feels after getting notice that your wife is pregnant (Yes!!!!) only to wait 9 months in anticipation and be rewarded with a daughter who is ineligible to take the throne (Nooooo!!!!!). The last one was twin girls, twisting the knife even further.
In the end everything worked out (so far...knock on wood) as I finally got my wife pregnant with a male heir. And this little bundle of joy is now going to be my successor. Provided he doesn't get assassinated or die of the Smallpox Plague that's been sweeping the Emerald Isle of late. Hmmm...maybe I should just keep him in hiding until he grows up and has his own son.
Either way, I'm running back to Tanistry. I just can't deal with the stress of another throne crisis. :p
After watching this present-day re-review of HL2, I reinstalled and refreshed it with the HL2: Update mod to pretty it up.
Should be interesting as I haven't played the game in like 10 years.
@Aaron D. Heavy hangs the head that wears the crown. Makes for good reading though.
Last weekend I had all kinds of ideas about what I was going to play. Didn't touch any of them.
This weekend, it'll be some combo of Ghost Recon: Wildlands Open Beta, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, & maybe Kentucky Route Zero.
Making my way through my first play through of Fallout 4. I'm now in the second half of the "story".
Slicing and dicing in For Honor
Ha! That gesture is great. I hadn't seen that before.

Wait, what?! The Japanese version has an English language option?! *Runs out of the door to the local video game shop*
If I have any time at all (doubtful), I'll start The Deadly Tower of Monsters.
Most definitely
Going to test the sharpness of my blade and wits against the public.
And maybe
