What are you playing this weekend?

I'm definately in a gaming lull right now. I'm spending most of my gaming time on WoW, which should have a new patch next Tuesday. However I also preordered my first game of the year and am getting Tomb Raider the same day.

TLDR - quet now, hopefully busy later

I was supposed to do work, and instead disappeared down a World of Tanks k-hole for like, two hours.

And you can flip on the radio and listen to real European radio stations that are streamed to you.

It would be totally bad-ass if you could hook into your iTunes and stream podcasts from locally on you computer, just like when I'm doing my real-world commute.

There's a text file that controls the streaming which you can edit to add/remove your own entries, but I haven't looked at the format it's in or how it works. You also have the option of dropping MP3's into a folder and it will play those instead.

This is what is hilarious and terrifies me about video games. I theoretically would be willing to play a video game version of my commute to work if the graphics were good enough and I had enough options.

Last night I played Brütal Legend for the first time ever.

Because it's so awesome, I stayed up way too late, and my continuing education today boiled down to 7 hours of barely being able to keep my eyes open. This could have also been partially due to the class being really boring.

More of this for me.

Brütal Legend is soooo awesome! So much metal goodness.

More Ur-Quan Masters for me, and possibly some Dark Souls. All this talk of Brütal Legend is making me want to fire it up again, though! I never got very far when I first started playing it, but it was definitely fun.

Right now, I'm acting as playground equipment for my one year-old son. He just grabbed my ear, and is patting my head. From his perch on my back.

Earlier today, I did a couple Magic drafts with TheWalt and two other gentlemen. He won.

Tonight...who knows? I'm still trying to get sucked in to something after countless hours of Dark Souls.

Proud, proud papa.

Just finished my first game of Battlelore with my 11 year old daughter. She loves it, and I finally have a reason to get the game out. I played it twice when I first bought it, but can't find anyone to play with. She seems keen on digging in to some of the complexities. We left lots of the rules out the first time through.

I'll be blazing away with Real Racing 3 (how about some Gamecenter friends??), then maybe some MLB The Show 12 as baseball season gets closer, and I'm sure I'll pop in Dragon Age as for some reason, I've been bitten by the bug to replay this old friend with all the DLC.

It's been a strange weekend so far for me. While I planned on making some progress through Vanquish it's surprisingly been a weekend of simulated trucking through Europe with Euro Truck Simulator 2. Haven't been able to pick out exactly *why* I've been hooked on this, but it has definitely been able to hold my interest more than other pile games.

Time to get my killing on.

Hitman Absolution.

I just downloaded that so I'll be trying it out...

JillSammich is my gamecenter id. Shoot me an invite. (that goes for other goojers as well)

Guild war 2 got me back.

It's ok, it needed some love. Anno had hook me for too long.

Played a bunch of Magicka co-op with my 9-year-old. Great fun, loads of teamwork (and accidentally killing each other multiple times with a misplaced thunderbolt).

And starting getting back to Sleeping Dogs.

Little bit of Skyrim. Lot of prying up carpet tack strips, and a bit of cutting down a big tree branch that was scraping the roof, in the dark, and having it not crash through said roof. SKIIILLLLLLS.

I put a significant chunk of time into Evochron Mercenary today, and got past the mission I'd been stuck on.

Combat got a lot more fun when I earned some military rank and bought a proper fighter.

Civ V... My willpower broke when an email came in saying "75% off the GOLD pack"...5 minutes(hours) later, I'm confused why I'm dehydrated, and hungry...so hungry...

My brother was up for the weekend, so we were able to give the board game Talisman a shot (with a few of the expansions thrown in for good measure). Good times were had by all. Except when we were turned into frogs. Then, not so good times.

Also gave Star Conflict a go. Enjoyable space shooter, if somewhat unfinished. Also continued to try uniting Brittania under the Irish banner in Crusader Kings 2.

DmC Devil May Cry - may push through the DLC too
Binding of Isaac
Rayman Jungle Run - the ONLY good platformer I've played on my phone (other than Canabalt, which I find unfulfilling)

Oh, and I'll also play some of a game I call "Fall off the rock-climbing wall and hope my belayer is not staring at some hot chick's ass".

Fully engrossed by Tomb Raider at the moment, so that will probably be the majority of my playtime. Also playing LEGO Lord of the Rings. Finished the story in that so now it's grinding to 100%. Thankfully it's mostly a fun grind.

Snow has prevented me from picking up Tomb Raider, so I'll be trying to finish Ni no Kuni, along with some Netrunner.

TIE Fighter, definitely, plus maybe some StarDrive or X3: Albion Prelude. Haven't played an actual game in over a week and am going through physical withdrawal symptoms. :/

Going to finish up Tomb Raider first, then more Persona 4 Golden and Strange Journey.

Looking to wrap up my first playthrough of Dishonored. I'll probably start it over right away with a non-lethal & undetected playthrough

XCOM and the various games I picked up during the XBLA sale.

More Mass Effect MP and hopefully the new DLC. I no longer have 100% of the achievements and that must be fixed

Going to finish up Resident Evil 5 coop run with a friend tonight and get back into Heavy Rain.

Batman Arkham Asylum and a bit of System Shock 2 for me. I might spice it up with Dark Souls, though.

I'll be continuing with my Ur-Quan Masters addiction! I messed up the end-game events (I'd forgotten so many details about the game from my college days, that I took too long!), so I'm going to give it another go!
