WoW BHA Player vs Player

Eh, some. Working on phasing you all out. Raiding is 4 nights a week. I either try to play when you all are on, or I watch House on Hulu.

So with raids, 4 nights a week, and yall not keen on sticking around for an hour after, are there two days in the week we could set aside an hour or 2 for matches? Tends to be lonely when I am on around 8 in the morning weekends.

Hard to say when I'm on. Usually I can show up on Thursday evenings at some point, I have soccer at random times, but thats the only thing. I'll look for you this evening.

I'm around all weekend if you guys want to schedule a time.

85 - check
Bloodied pyrium set - check
Gear enchants and enhancements - about half done

My question: I've got about 2K honor points saved up. What piece(s) of gear should I buy first?

First. About f*ckING time.

Second, if you are human, save the pieces. Anything other than Human, get your Medalion of the Alliance- removes polymorphs, cyclones, etc.

Let me get you onto my 2s, save your conquest points for your 2 hander-it will take you 3 weeks.

Get ready to run a lot of Tol Barad. The PVP inscriptions you want require exalted, and 120 marks(you will get the marks long before exalted). For PVE, the Wardens also have great weapons and trinkets, also mounts. It is also the best place for money-dailies and farming.

Here was my rotation. And there are plenty of people to help(I still need 3 PVP mounts). Get your daily random BG win(usually 200 honor for a win), on the weekends try to get as many Call to Arms matches as you can. Do not be afraid to drop out of a drawn out, but losing effort. Go run dailies while you wait out the debuff.

is that the name of your 2s team?

Even if you're human you should still get a resilience trinket that has a proc or on use stat. Resil is too good to give up for anything else right now. Aim for at least 3500

I will not take notes from an EXTRA! TK and I are trying to make a more concerted effort to get that 3s rating up as new gear is already out. I may have to relax my one strict gear requirement on that team.

So I did my first TB battle over the weekend. Ally was on defense, and we won.

The gist of it seems to be run to one of the three keeps, kill all the horde there and run to the next one.

Is there some subtle tactic I'm missing?

Complaining in raid chat is a vital part of the strategy as well. No, basically it is a game of keep away.

Meh. It makes me miss Wintergrasp. At least there was some semblance of tactics there.

On the plus side, I'm 1-0 in my TB career. The only way to have a winning record in WG was to have flipped factions.

Personally, I would rather some imaginative PVP dailies like Wrath had in Grizzley Hills and the Fjord. And maybe a third or fourth battleground. And I must say, where are the Cataclysmic Arenas? Gilneas is fun, Twin Peaks hey they put a pool in Warsong. As someone PVP geared, and exalted with the wardens, sitting on 140 marks, I am content to run the battle or the dailies once or twice a week and eventually get the rest of my mounts from battlegrounds.

Whisper me, I would never not rather hop into vent and run battlegrounds over just about anything.

Any word on when the new maps will be available for the BGs?

Last official word I saw on it was "in the future." I do not see any indication of them being present in 4.1 or 4.2 at the moment. I am kind of hoping soon, Blizzard has stated no new raid content in 4.1. I am not sure if killing trolls for mounts is enough of an addition.

Sorry I bagged on you last night, KG. 9 p.m. server is pushing my bedtime, and I was already 0-3 on Discco last night.

In my final WSG (the one in which Horde won with a speed hack), I led all folks on both sides with 66 HKs.

Disc is a priest. No, that makes no sense.

I am so used to it now, sigh.

What time zone are you in? And what level is Stonecrack now? Probably going to roll a holy pally tonight for lower level pvp fun.

I think Stonecrack is well into his 40s. Might be 50.

Discco, meanwhile, is right at 19. I'm in no hurry to level him, so come join the fun in WSG. (I'm on 6-8+ server time during the week.) I've always wanted to roll a shockadin - good luck with that!

He is close to 50. And I am Eastern.

I have barely taken the warrior and druid into the battlegrounds. I played Arathi once on Snuzzles.

Battlegrounds are the way to go when leveling your lowbs...We should probably go ahead and roll together in one of them as a group one monday...

Got the pally healer to 12 last night. Enjoying the playstyle so far...if this holds up I'll ditch the resto druid for him.

Had a blast bitch slapping the arenas last night. Five in a row!

Then Tk and I got rocked hard in RBGs.

I concur. I am surprised I did not get an achievement for breaking a million that one time.

Sometimes. I lost three straight WSG matches at lvl 19 and got maybe 2K experience points. I could have gotten a ton more had I just mined copper and tin.

But ... I've picked up 2 of the 3 pieces of available PvP gear, and I just need more more HPs to get that beautiful, beautiful staff.

If I work it right, I should have enough honor at lvl 28 to buy all the gear right off the bat. That's the plan anyway.

After you left we won 2 in a row...

What time do you guys play during the week?

7:00-10:30 weeknights, for me. Though I'm usually booked 2-3 nights of the week for the leveling group and raids. That leaves me with one weeknight of PvP (usually Wed or Thurs depending on raid scheduling) and Saturday night.

I pop on around 10 or 11 eastern
