Harley Quinn ep 3 is getting better and better. I really dug this episode.

Spoiler:

Ivy saying she loves Harley was the best moment. I like how they are keeping the relationship like it was in the animated series. Does she love her like sister or does she looooove her.

I get the feeling "Harley Quinn's crew aint nothing to F with" is a reference to Wu Tang Clan. Wu Tang Clan aint nothing to F with is how the song goes.

I love the strong feminist leanings of the show. I wonder if the show will get attack by dudes scared of strong women or if the violence and craziness will also appeal to those type of guys. I just went through some random reviews and they were all by dudes. But it was only a quick search.

Superman Red Son has a trailer out. This is the story of superman landing in Russia instead of Kansas. The comic is pretty good. Looking forward to the movie.

For 2019 my favorite cartoon is She-Ra Princess of Power. It just barely beat out The Dragon Prince which was also really good. Young Justice was good but not up to its usual standards this year. I wasn't counting anime but if I was Carole and Tuesday might have beat it. Primal was also extremely good but there wasn't as much to it

Just watched Klaus on netflix. The movie is great and a lot better than I thought it would be. Animation, soundtrack, story are all good. Excellent movie to add to the christmas list.

Klaus was great. I see it going into the regular pre-Christmas movie rotation with the Hogfather,

Is Hogfather based on the Terry Pratchett Discworld stories?

Yes!

It's a great recreation of the book.

Watched The Adam Family and liked it. Not a must watch and predictable but if you like the adam family of old I think you will like it. There were a few inside jokes that people wont get if they haven't seen the original show.

Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts is a new cartoon on netflix. I watched the first few episodes and thought it was pretty good. It has some nice animation and the music is great. Looks like something that would be good to watch with kids. Safe enough for kids to watch and interesting enough for adults.

The show is on the wacky side. Talking frogs, bees doing disco, giant bunny rabbits, and all types of mutants live in this world. We meet three humans so far all are black interesting enough. People mostly live underground but two of the three we meet are living above ground. The one human from below is trying to get back home.

Hair Love, it won a oscar

Just finished Star vs the Forces of Evil - it was delightful, in the vein of Steven Universe

This one is above average. I got a Studio Ghibli vibe every now and then. The music is pretty good. There’s even a rap song with GZA and John Hodgman rapping about astronomy.

I feel like the writing is pretty mediocre, which is a shame since the concept and artistic direction are really great. The lukewarm writing really keeps it from being something that I would strongly recommend.

This clip is awesome:
