Cartoon watchers with jobs

I rewatched half of the series because I didn't realize netflix didn't have all the episodes when I started it again. What still stands out for me is the Superboy and Ms Martian relationship. I liked Superboy's reaction to her secret.

I was amazed when they revealed why Superboy and Miss Martian broke up after the time skip.

I think this scene is one of the most interesting looks at Batman and Robin. It really amazed me to see this sort of examination in a cartoon.

I watched Vixen too, it's great! Can't wait to see more. I might even watch the Green Arrow and Flash at some point.
YJ <3 forever.

Watching Justice League Unlimited on Netflix and it is so good plus I love the animation!

oh man, Rob Lowe. I forgot about Rob Lowe. This show remains great and gets really dark sometimes.

I just watched Over the Garden Wall with my kids. What a fantastic show.

I've been watching Tron Uprising which is pretty good. The style is a little weird, everybody has long legs and long faces. I'm ten episodes in and loving it. Only problem is I know it was canceled so it probably doesn't have a good end.

Yes, I loved the animation in Tron Uprising! Yeah, I think it died to Disney XDs horrible scheduling.

Pretty sure it's the same studio/creator that did Aeon Flux originally and then the Men in Black animated series.

Peter Chung? I love Aeon Flux... bought the DVDs. So weird, love it!

That's him. Was having a brain fart. Not sure if it's just his style and a studio he oversees these days or him directly.

I watched the first episode of Moonbeam City, thought it was pretty good. A mix of Archer and Miami Vice. Which Archer already did for one season, but hey. Wasn't quite up to the level of Archer, but the 80's nostalgia made up for it.

Episode 1

Oh, wow, just, OMG

Also, really happy on one thing about "Act Your Age" episode of Phineas and Ferb

Spoiler:

Vanessa has ditched Monty and is going out with Ferb! Hell yeah! Suck it Seth Green's character (where's your Titan Maximum now, huh?).

All episodes of Vixen are now out on CW Seed. The show is really one 30 minute episode cutup into 6 parts. I don't think the show will go anywhere but I did like it. I did like her on Justice League more but here she isn't in a love triangle.

Episode 1

I watched this as well. It was pretty crazy but man it does 80s great!

Vixen was awesome. One thing that bugs me about movies/toons is that they never explain

Spoiler:

how people make it back from the absolute middle of nowhere.

Checked out Moonbeam City. I'm not sure if I like it just yet. I thought this might be about 80s vampires. I don't hate it. The show had it moments.

Also just watched the season finale of Rick and Morty. We only have to wait a year and half to see how that cliffhanger get resolved. Really dug the Hurt song playing during the end and the special guest at the end.

The last few episodes of Steven Universe have been really good. They pack a lot into a ten minute episode.

I finally finished Batman the Animated Series. Season 4 was a LOT of fun. Parts of season 2 kind of dragged on and it took me a while to get through it. I've started Superman the Animated Series now but only am a few episodes into it. Never really followed much of Big Blue before, so it's kind of interesting to see these stories.

Of course, I might take me a while to get through it...On a random walk through YouTube recently, I re-discovered Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go. I'd seen some of this on cable when on travel a few times but never really paid much attention to it. I found a few clips of some quite hilarious bits in Teen Titans Go and now I'm starting to work through that series from the beginning. I'll probably starting watching Teen Titans in parallel just to keep up with the more "dramatic" side of the characters and so that I don't miss references to the secondary characters from the original series that show up in Go.

Superman isn't as good as Batman, but you should definitely muscle through it so you can get to Justice League.

Don't forget a out the Batman Superman crossover movie either, it's so so good.

Yeah, I've already seen JL and JLU. Fantastic stuff. That's why I wanted to go back and see the original Batman and Superman series.

Tiger tiger burning bright...

I loved Teen Titans enough to get it on DVD. I think I got 2 copies of season 5 gifted to me and still have both lying around, actually. I still have yet to find Go, but haven't actually gone looking.

The pixar Lava short is out. One of the best animated shorts I have seen. It is about two volcanoes looking for lava. I don't think it is included with the Inside Out movie.

It better f*cking be included with Inside Out. That's one of the reasons I pre-ordered the BD as soon as I saw the movie.

My wife and I just rented it from Redbox. It is included, but they put it after the movie instead of before. It's also under 'Extras'.

Rick & Morty. That is all.

Yeah, thank goodness. The new short, Riley's First Date, is priceless.

Finished working my way through Teen Titans Go! and thought it was lots of fun. I absolutely love Raven's character in this series. I'm now watching the original Teen Titans. So far it's starting out fairly good. There are a few episodes that are forgettable, but overall it's interesting. I've heard that the 1st season is a little hit-or-miss, but that it really picks up by the 2nd and hits its stride in the 3rd season.

I've also started watching "The Batman" series (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ba...) which is quite different than "Batman: The Animated Series" I'm only a few episodes into it, but so far I'm enjoying it. The animation style and music are very intriguing and the characterization of a younger and more brooding Bruce Wayne is quite different than the previous series (well, at least the first three seasons of it.)

If you haven't seen it already, check out Young Justice.
