SC2 Pro Tournament Discussion

This is why I want more toss in the tourney. It really does annoy me that Zerg players 14 hatch after knowing they are going to get rushed.

Did they say why they got rid of vetoing maps?

Any games particularly worth watching from this morning's sets?

My guess is because almost all games were played on the same set of maps, which makes things a lot more bland.

I liked the Fruit Dealer match, but I haven't caught all the VODs yet.

Fixed :)

I hate you. Now it's stuck and I can't get it out.

You are welcome. Flaming horse of doom once again lives up to its name.

The Fruit Dealer match was one sided but still fun just because of how the games played out.

sCfOu vs FOXLyn is ridiculous and goes on forever. If you like TvT you might find it entertaining. I skipped a few sections of the second game because it was just boring.

There were no games worth watching except perhaps sC v. Lyn as Thin_J mentioned, and both of those are 20+ minutes long.

NSPGenius stomping on SCV allins was worth watching just because of how lame those are.

Day 3 of the GSL is starting now. LiquidRhet is up first.

First game was fantastic. Very nice play on both sides.

GSL Season 3 - Round of 64 - Day 2 - Results

Early Games

Rache (T) 0 - 2 GgoBooGie (P)
DreamizEr (Z) 0 - 2 Rain (T)
LiberoPrime (T) 0 -2 NSPGenius (P)
RainBOw (T) 0 - 2 NewDawn (Z)
BitByBit (T) 2 - 0 LiquidHayprO (Z)

Late Games

Tosyad (Z) 0 - 2 FruitDealer (Z)
sCfOu (T) 2 - 1 FOXLyn (T)
AnyproPrime (P) 0 - 2 TheBestfOu (T)
NEXNaYa (Z) 0 - 2 HongUnPrime (P)

Recommend games: sCfOu v. FOXLyn set 1-3 if you love long-ass TvTs. Otherwise nothing else.

Non-Korean Watch: Sen (Taiwan) (into r32), HayprO (Sweden) OUT, Ret (Netherlands), Jinro (Sweden), IdrA (USA)

Good second game too. Though I do feel like Cyrano could have taken it if he'd gone for the kill off two bases instead of investing so much in trying to get up a third.

In GomTV, it says login with SNS/facebook on the bottom. Does that mean I can view some stuff if I log in with facebook, or is it only free when its live?

I tried it and my fb is asking GOMTV permission to access my stuff? Is this just making me a fb fan or can I actually use it?

It will link the accounts together. Basically using your facebook login for your GOM login. I use my twitter login for it. Once you have an account (any account fb, twitter, or gom) you can watch the free content.

You have to sign up to watch the free stream as well, so I imagine it's just another way to log in to their system.

Kyrix just absolutely dismantled by JSL. That was pretty impressive.

Nice I'm in. I'm watching the first of the free content and the production values are pretty cool

And now it's time for GuMihofOu, the Random player. Let's hope for fun and not too much cheese.

While Kyrix was definitely fun to watch, it seemed that it was only a matter of time before he was "figured out." I imagine being on the same team JSL was quite ready for him. Kyrix obviously has a lot of talent though, so he should be able to come back with some practice and adjustments and be right up at the top tier again.

That was interesting. *ponder*

What a baller PvZ!

TSL_GuineaPig vs IMJunwi is highly recommended.

Yeah - that last series was pretty neat. And it makes an interesting contrast to the other PvZ games earlier tonight where the Protoss lost trying to transition from stargates into collosi while playing more conventionally.

Holy balls! Game 3 of Leenock v Clide was abso-f*cking-lutely epic. I don't know how many times Tasteless and Artosis said "I HAVE NO IDEA WHO'S GOING TO WIN THIS GAME!!!!"

I've only had time to watch game one of the series so far, but Ret is looking pretty freakin amazing.

They weren't great games, but watching Ret and JSL both completely tear apart their opponents was instructional.

This is most likely an old match, but I randomly clicked on a featured video and it was pretty awesome

TheLittleOne vs oGsHyperdub [Round of 32 match 16]

Jinro tomorrow! I so hope he makes it through

Who withdrew from the BoxeR match?
