I may be wrong but do modern tanks allow a single person to fire that quick between rounds?

There was another person in the tank. I don't think that was modern tank but it was probably meant to be for the show.

What has always bothered me was the "previously on..." of any show.
To me, those are always mini spoilers of what the episode will be about or what specific sub plot will be furthered.

Showing Carol during the previously on makes me hope she got in and saved little ass kicker.

Spoiler:

Please?

Eh, I'm just assuming the two children that were holding the carrier figured out how silly it is to try and carry something that bulky and heavy during a firefight and took ass kicker out. That was a part that both me and my wife shaking our heads--those things are awkward enough as a full grown adult

I was pretty mixed about this episode. On the one hand, the governor is done. On the other, the way it all played out seemed to rely a whole lot on suspending of disbelief. Like it was said previously, it seemed far too easy for the governor to convince the camp fighting was the best solution. I mean really--there is only one other person (who I will name as Andrea #2) who has any sort of misgivings about the plan?

Luckily New Andrea was able to do what Old Andrea could not

I turned this episode on saying, "Alright -- this is the finale for me. After this I quit this show." WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME, WALKING DEAD!? Pretty awesome episode.

This is pretty heavy speculation, but I was wondering about this: Rick had JUST told Daryl about dumping Carol before sh*t went down. When the Gov. calls Rick out, Daryl is pretty quick to send him out there then turns and says "WHEN this goes bad, here's the plan..." Did Daryl hang Rick out to dry?

Also, thought someone would tell Tyrese that news in the middle of the fight so he'd go all RAMPAGE.

I don't think Daryl is a traitor. A quality which makes him so endearing is his realist, cut through the B.S. personality. He was the first to say Carol's daughter was dead in Season 2 and is always on point with how situations will turn out. He knew that even if everyone wanted a peaceful resolution the Governor would not allow it.

Also, I'm glad they didn't leave a whopper of a cliffhanger. I feel like I can wait until February without big questions pestering me.

It was a Vietnam era tank from 1971 I think... There were some pop-up infographics at the end of talking dead.

No one also mentioned the fact that a grenade down the barrel of a tank would not blow up the people inside. Unless they were stupid enough to open the breach while he put the grenade down there. All in all a bit meh part to me. Also grenades generally do not make fire and why would the person in the tank just aim for random wall spots. Rather than actually shoot at stuff people were behind.

I was laughing at the tank part too. Then I considered some of the aim I've seen in BF4....

I made the stretch to assume that the grenade had perfect timing and that they were in the process of reloading right as it detonated

If the tank is what ruined your immersion in the show, I'd suggest moving on...

Or steamroll the bus Rick had hidden behind.

Why didn't Rick just shoot the Governer instead of trying to jump him?

It's been well established that the characters aren't very smart.

Because Michone needed to be the one to kill him. She said she would :P.

No ammo. I'm more annoyed he didn't pistol whip him when he jumped him.

There were more who seemed unsure while Rick was talking, but the Governor had the full backing of the former leader's brother, whom they all knew. And as others have said, once the shooting started they didn't have much of a choice.

She did so far as she knew. He'd have bled out (or been eaten) if Lilly didn't shoot him first.
I was wondering where the hell Michonne got to once she saved Rick. I expect it will follow the comics, but there's no way she wouldn't have caught back up to Rick by the time he reached the tank. Given her earlier interaction with Judith, I imagine the bloody carrier would have hit her especially hard too.

I think that the reason the kids ran back into the prison after saving Tyreese was to go get Judith, because I don't buy that she was eaten by zombies. If she was I think there'd have been more than just blood and the carrier would have been chewed up quite a bit. It looked more like someone with bloody hands took her out of the carrier.

I wonder where they'll meet up, and who'll show up. For groups we've got: Glenn & the no-names on the bus; Sasha, Maggie, and Bob; Tyreese and the child militia; Daryl & Beth; Rick & Carl; and Michonne by herself. So far as we know both Tara & Lilly are alive, so it's possible we'll run into them again too.
Comic spoiler

Spoiler:

I doubt they'll go back to Hershel's farm since it was overrun, as opposed to still being safe in the comic, especially since not all the groups have someone that knows where the farm is.

I was a little disappointed that the massive horde Daryl & co ran into while looking for medicine didn't make it to the prison just as the fight started. It'd have been more interesting than the few dozen that were attracted by the tank (also, they should have had quite the train of zombies just from driving that to the prison). I suppose the next half of the season will be them finding each other and searching for the source of the radio broadcast they heard just before finding the horde.
Comic spoiler/speculation

Spoiler:

I wouldn't be surprised if that broadcast is what leads them to the walled community, and that it will be relatively close by instead of near DC

There seems to be some unspoken consensus that turning into a zombie is worse than a final death.

The Governor did it to Merle and Michonne thought she did it to The Gov.

If When the zombie apocalypse comes, I beg all of you to not put a bullet in my head and let me get a chance at unlife by roaming around as a zombie. Might be fun! If I can't be the savior of mankind I at least want to do my best to be a part of it's downfall.

Ah, the "If I die, I'm taking you all with me" approach to life, death, and the afterdeath.

Ya, Besides, havn't you seen Warm Bodies? Maybe they do actually think.

I really liked that movie....

ya, a feel-good zombie movie. Not enough of those.

I was searching for reasons the breech might have been open. I don't know if the writers actually knew this or not, but it appears that early versions of the M60 had an issue where unburnt propellant would cause subsequent rounds to pre-detonate. So maybe the breech was open to be cleaned out.

I was thinking Michonne wanted to come back for zombie-governor later, to turn him into a new pet.

I thought he was just trying to spike the barrel. Didn't even think it was possible for a grenade to roll the entire length, breach open or not.

Please Walking Dead writers, let this happen!!

I don't think you see where he gets shot. Doesn't the screen go black when she fires?

I guess I won't get much use out of this this Christmas.

But at least he came out a head.
