So my alter ego wants for some silly reason to broadcast his wedding for family and friends that can't attend. Ustream is out because it is blocked in China.
Livestream.com seems to work pretty well, but in testing with the parents, Dad discovered they interrupt the broadcast periodically with advertisements, condom ads in particular. While a wedding is a great opportunity to espouse the wonderful benefits of safe sex, all involved parties would prefer to have the wedding remain ad-free.
Justin.tv is another option. This one seems to be ad-free, very easy to use and might do fine, the only concern was whether the video quality would be good enough as it remained totally blurred unless video quality was cranked all the way up. Bandwidth should be better at the wedding location, so perhaps this won't be a problem.
Any other sites you guys could suggest checking out? Free or very cheap would be best.
