NCAA College Football 2010 *Catch All*

Awesome. Especially Ole Miss State versus Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tear inducing awesome on a stick.

For the record, Rick and Bubba, isn't sports radio... but they're from Alabama so of course, they're football fans. (Useless fact: I used to work and play softball with their "Director of Internet Operations" in '99 - 2000.)

Edit: Ok, yeah, that was awesome.

21-3?

You ok, Jayhawker?

Well, I figured the Southern Miss game was going to to tell us more about Kansas than the GT game. But I'm not too bummed, really.

They have a redshirt freshman QB that showed flashes of becoming a star. They have a true freshman HB that should have a nice career. What they don't have a solid OL. But it is young, and can be improved.

Defensively, they are going to struggle against the spread. They just do not have the team speed to make the plays they need to make. Southern Miss made them pay repeatedly.

But the year will be a decent stepping stone. I just needed the loss to NDSU not to be the norm. If it had been, then Gill was going to have a hard time recruiting from here on out. Instead, I think he can show off the beginnings of a program.

After a little gnashing of teeth, and some salty language directed at no one in particular I still feel the need to vent.

Yes, Georgia is without one of the best players in the country for four games, because of his own actions, but c'mon.

The Dawgs absolutely choked that game away after a great effort to come back and be in a position to win.

And the fault lies squarely with the coaches.

Question, you have a freshmen QB who has played a great second half, but has struggled with pressure, what do you call on 3rd and 4? That's right, a slow developing play down the field instead of a short out or cross to a tight end, end result sack, short punt giving one of the best QBs in the country another chance and then some prevent a win defense and we end up with?

Yeah I was pulling for Georgia. Can't help but hate Petrino and blame him for our last 3 years of suck at Louisville. Really don't enjoy watching him win somewhere else.

In other news, apparently I can't watch or listen to the Louisville game anywhere on the internet today. Who the hell gets Fox Sports Northwest anyway? And would you please stream it if you do? Or skype me or something. Sheesh. I'd rather watch grainy video than nothing at all.

Made it past the falcons. Defense and Landry were both hit and miss.

My parents ended up skyping me the Louisville game. Man we blew it. Went for it on 4th and 1 on the 3, got stopped. Next possession fumbled on the 1, into the end zone for a touchback.

To lose by 7 and give up those mistakes... we really beat ourselves. No disrespect to Oregon St, but we dominated ToP, 1st Downs, Yards (of all categories)... no way we should have lost that one.

So, Texas goes down!

UCLA crammed it down Texas's throats. 34 points scored with only 26 yards passing (but 264 yards rushing!)

Way to choke, Arkansas. Up 20-7 and lose 24-20. That's pitiful.

Yes Will Muschamp, Give me your TEARS!

UCLA? Rick Neuheisel's UCLA? Nice knowing you, Texas.

Bah, all you Texas haters can eat it. We're rebuilding.

NOM NOM TEXAS TEARS.

Hey! Don't be dissing Georgia's next coach. Besides, you were a onside kick away from some boomer sooner boo hoo hooing.

Tonight I feast! (also OU rugby over OSU 46 to 3)

Show me where you though that BEFORE this loss....

I have quite a few crazy Texas aka "UT" fans for friends. Some of them will probably call in sick on Monday. I didn't watch the game, what the hell happened?

My beloved Crimson Tide had me worried today, but they pulled it out in the end. I'm more nervous about our next two weeks now: Florida and South Carolina.

Um...let's see...national championship game last year? First game this year? Anyone who thought Texas was going back to the champeenship game this year was deluded. Gilbert needs to go back in the oven for another season. Even then he may not be the next big thing. 2011 or 2012 is what I'm looking for, when some of these true freshmen hit their stride.

No kidding. Supreme choke for Mallet.

Normally I'd disagree and say that Alabama is just that good (which they are), but those two interceptions he threw were terrible. He definitely choked.

Just got back today from watching my Beavs lose to Boise State. I wanted to come back with a win-win situation. With warm feelings towards Boise, the fans, the team regardless of whether Oregon State won or loss. Instead I feel like setting my Boise State hat on fire. Not a pleasant place to watch a game in some respects and not a classy performance on the field either.

Is it as hard to sit and watch a game on that stupid blue field in person as it is on TV?

That's Not so bad. Biggest problem is the fans.

Fresno's gonna thump Ole Miss in a couple weeks anyway, with their vaunted new pass rush. 8 sacks against Cincy! Monsters now!

So what happened?

Does Mallet play on defense? Arkansas' defense choked. They did the same thing at UGA the week before but Mallet was able to bail them out. Arkansas has an undisciplined defense and 'Bama is that good.

I will now go talk to my friends about Trey Burton and McElroy's meltdown at the end of the first half while trying not remember last year's SEC Championship Game.
