Is... is that her voice? If so, I am in infatuation.
Edit: Holy sh*t, it is. *swoooon*
Huh, her band The Anchor, did an entire cover album, which this is from: https://theanchor.bandcamp.com/album...
How did I not know about The Ocean until recently? These Germans have created a series a superlative albums tackling topics such as the fall of traditional Christian dogmas and the rise of modern outlooks which do not presuppose man as the literal and metaphorical center of the universe etc. You've been warned.
The Ocean is awesome. Precambrian is a must-have.
Pelagial might be my favorite album from the past 5 years or so.

You can only choose one: vocals or instrumental disc?

Cripes.
Vocals?
Yeah, I'd still go with vocals if I had to choose.
Been listening to some albums scoured from the best of 2015 lists... really liking the Locrian album:
Listened to Locrian on the way to work this morning. Snowed less than an inch last night, but it's been bitter cold. Dark. Perfect for this music.

It's been like that here too.
Well, by "that", I mean it's been 55 degrees and raining, but that's about as dark and bitter cold as we get.
New Dream Theater album comes out tomorrow. It's their first concept album in quite a while and it weighs in at an impressive ~129min. (2 disc)
Needless to say, I'm beyond excited! I almost wanna take the day off of work, but I think I can just get away with having headphones in a lot of the day. Anybody else looking forward to this one?
Damn son. Where to even start with how epic this is...
Oh god the next song is just so good too...I am going to play the sh*t out of this album.
Mutant, welcome to my collection.
Where'd you dig this up WizardM0de? I can't find anyone talking about it!!

A buddy of mine put me on to 'em. I had the same reaction, and the only place I could find that's giving it any love - though indirectly - is Rateyourmusic, as it's been rated highly (early enough) to appear towards the top of the 2016 charts.
Mutant, welcome to my collection.
+1
Thanks for the heads up, WizardM0de.
This is a bit more stoner rock than metal, but still of interest here, I'm sure. Got a bit of a 80's/90's vibe going on as Autumn vocalist George Chamberlin and Brother's Keeper guitarist Chris Bazan are a part of the band. (I only say that because every site mentions that.) If you guys liked what Goatsnake did last year, I'm sure you'll like this.

Hmm, yeah. Musically, that sounds a lot like The Sword, which isn't a bad thing, of course.
I've been enjoying Gygax's debut album. Unashamed D&D inspired metal.
I just found out that 80's inspired power metal is in my wheelhouse. Seriously, my sister loves cheesey hair bands and I think this might be in her wheelhouse also.
And if you want some more throwback music then Angellore has you with some gothic doom stuff. Like a more doomy and less symphonic Tristania.
I haven't lurked at the site in a while but after stopping in I just had to chip in.
The new Primal Fear album is out, Rulebreaker, and it is exactly what it is and if you like that sort of thing it is AWESOME! Audio link follows, audio only because good lord is the video embarrassing. Aged German power metal guys should not preen around with disinterested model types...

I picked it up on Friday and I'm loving it. Much better than their last self titled album.
Can't wait for the new Fleshgod Apocalypse tomorrow!

Nice! Thanks for the heads up!
Apparently Nuclear Blast has released videos for two other tracks from the new album.
The new Myrath album (Legacy) is due out at the end of this week! In the meantime, for your Tunisian metal pleasure, they've released the first single, and it's fricking addicting (with bonus points for basically being Prince of Persia: The Metal Video).
Check it out:

Bought! Thanks for that.
Also, LTTP but Babymetal is way better than the gimmick I figured it would be.
