That's right, I just brought you all down! Know what cures THAT? Fire. The answer is Fire.

The burning is love?

So I had a great game with Lt.Warhound, Krazy Taco, and nubslovecake. I think Switchbreak and Donut were on the other team but I only remember them because they're jerks over SnareSpeak.

Who was it that got so drunk they fell asleep during a match? I know it happened to someone many, many pages ago but can't remember who it was. That was a funny thing to read, if not to have lived.

I, for one, have had to make a bathroom run because I was so drunk I needed to puke and my foot got caught in the power cord of the computer, so I tripped, turned my computer off, and puked all over my floor.

Vega, I know for sure in the original L4D was always, always drunk. He might be a suspect in this.

This game sounds like fun!

I mean this in the worst way possible- that is phenomenal.

The server in my name is up for renewal today if anyone is interested in renewing it. Can't afford it myself right now.

I NEED TO PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN SOMETIME SOON!

Truth is, the team I was on was just pounding the other team and I was talking some major trash, which I usually don't do -- I'm a pretty quiet mic guy. Then they move me to the other team, and my new team proceeds to pound the daylights out of the old team to win the match. I'm going to go ahead and say it was all my doing, but I'd be way wrong. It sure did feel that way though at the time because I just wouldn't shut up every time I nabbed someone as an infected.

I yanked the cord out during the finale just before they hit the burger tank sign to signal the boat, so I dropped from the game right when the finale began. I'm sure that was really helpful.

I miss this game. I need to commit to once a week at the very least. As much as I miss the specific time in which this was hot (and I do, there were some great regular folk) I also just miss the game. Won't be next week, but gotta start this week after next.

Procrastinators of the world unite! ....tomorrow.

I'd love to invest more time into this game again myself actually, but games seem to start up between 5 and 6 PM PST which is a horrible time for me to try to sit down without interruptions.

I generally have time at like 10 to 11 ET and have had luck when I try to start matches at that time. I just need to start initiating more games.

Also, I am a procrastinator, but also I know it wont start next week because my wife is off of work (she's a teacher) and I don't start games until after she goes to bed. Since she's off of work, she'll be staying up a lot later than normal.

PC Gamer[/url]] We can expect to see Steam Workshop support appearing in other Valve games, too. "You'll see the Steam Workshop coming from there, then to Left 4 Dead and then we're going to keep using it," Chet Faliszeck added.

Is anyone else as excited about this prospect as I am?

Yeah, I'd absolutely play with it a bit at the very least.

If I'm on Steam and it's after 8:30pm EST, send me an invite. I'll usually accept.

Big patch today, lots of NM fixes:

General:
-Fixed survivors being able to climb some infected-only ladders

No Mercy 1 – Apartments:
-Survivors should no longer be able to fall into the street-level infected-only area from the starting rooftop -Players should no longer be able to drop down onto the invisible brush at the corner.
-Survivors should no longer be able to incapacitate themselves by jumping toward the electric box prop opposite the starting rooftop. It should now be fatal

No Mercy 2 – Subway:
-Players should no longer get stuck when in the back corner underneath the starting safe room -Survivors should no longer be able to jump onto the tiny ledge on the side of the building following the door/generator event -Made the piano near the ending safe room into a an immobile, static prop to solve an issue with infected players using it to block the safe room.

No Mercy 3 – Sewer:
-Survivors who somehow manage to get on top of the gas station should no longer be able to leave the map.
-The work light at the mid-way point in the sewer is now an immobile, static prop to solve an issue with infected players using it to block survivor progress.

No Mercy 4 – Hospital:
-Added the missing "breakable" decals to the breakable wall in the second part of the stairwell.
-Made the breakable wall in the second part of the stairwell breakable to all infected.
-Survivors should no longer be able to enter the infected-only vents and passages above and near the elevator event.
-The two tank-only breakable walls in the upper, under construction floor into can now be broken by any infected.

No Mercy 5 – Rooftop:
-Added several props to cover and remove an invincible spot on one of the lower tiers of the rescue rooftop.

Cold Stream 4 – Cut-throat Creek:
-Fixed infected not being able to path to survivors when standing in the boat near the tank fight.

Crispy's server is no longer available. Switchbreak still needs to update his. My server is updated but again it won't show in the list. You can connect to it with the mm_dedicated_force_servers 72.249.142.138:27015 console command.

It looks like Vega was able to connect to your server, Red. I'm assuming. I'm very drunk right now.

My apologies if this inebriation was cause for any offense. Very fun games tonight!

First time in a goddam year I see that car smash its way out of the mall and I'm not in it.
Good games.

Those games last night were hilarious.

me too. the games have probably been pretty crappy since i've been hiatus

Quite the opposite - I had a great time in both games. Of course, I was also pretty intoxicated by the second one and messed up quite a few times in the first, but tons of laughs. Funny what not playing (or drinking) for several weeks will lead to.

Good game again last night. It's much more fun just barely losing than being like 1300 points ahead.

It was a close game throughout. It is also always more fun when Burnt is not a liability

I think that was the first game in a long time where we didn't need to pause.

Way to go Team Vodka! Tonight's game was a big win for drunkards everywhere.

I don't often get to toot my own horn in this game, so I might as well do it while I can: I was laughing my ass off when, in the No Mercy finale, I managed to jump up from the tiny ledge below the ladder roof and catch Muttonchop alone, dodge a molotov and bullets, and take him down the ladder. Normally I loathe playing Jockey, but somehow things just clicked -- I had some of my finest playing tonight, and that jockey stint was the cherry on top.

I haven't played this in weeks. Stupid working night shift on weekends......

Fun game the other night. While I don't appologize for having drank too much, I do apologize for how that impacted the last couple of maps. Good game tho!

Patch March 29th:

Versus Survival
The first Survivor team sets the time. The second team tries to beat it. Then the first team tries to beat the second team's time. Then the second team tries to beat the first team's time. And then the... you get the idea. Rounds keep switching until someone fails to beat the previous time.

This is a great way to try Versus. Rounds are only as long as you can keep beating each other’s times. There are no rushing Survivors. Infected spawns get quicker as the time increases. It is mayhem filled with all the weapon perks and items. What’s not to like? Give it a try.

Anyone try it yet?

Wow. Something short. Might pull me out of retirement.

Not sure how much fun survival would be. The makes each round a little boring. But I am surprised we don't do more of the Scavenge mode.

Love that one team tonight forgot to start therefor end up with a time of 0 seconds, despite them killing messes of zeds.
