The PSN block breaker is now on Steam. Besides the original content they've added an Endless Mode, Endless Co-op Multiplayer, Time Attack Mode, Time Attack Co-op Multiplayer, plus Steam achievements and leaderboards.

Finally, the amazing soundtrack by Sidhe.
I'm thinking about getting it. Maybe.
Really? I love that game. They might just get a repeat customer.

Is that Arkanoid on acid?
I'm in.

For clarity, it's an Arkanoid clone, not a shooter.
Shatter is amazing, one of my favorite games this generation. I may have to double dip on it as well.

I chose short and inaccurate. Changed for length and accuracy.

If I ever replace my laptop I will absolutely get it.
If I don't, well I'll just keep playing it on the PS3.

I absolutely loved this game. Double dip time.
Now that I think about it, I may have loved the soundtrack even more than the game itself.

Bam! (The sound of me pulling the purchase trigger.)
Just downloaded it off steam. My best "arcade" moments in years. Good stuff.

I got this on Friday and I've already beaten it twice. Once I learned to control the ball with the sucking and blowing mechanic, this game really clicked for me. It definitely helps that it's looks great and has a fantastic soundtrack.
Sidhe, let me buy more please.

Why there is no demo for this on either Steam or PSN is beyond me. It sounds like a game my wife would adore, but neither of us want to buy a title that we haven't demoed, even for ~$10.

I found this game to be both really easy and as a consequence really boring. Like Arkanoid but without any of the charm. And the whole presentation/music - sheesh it's like the Amiga demo scene from 1990 - update your design aesthetic guys.
I like to imagine that the first message sent across the internet in 1969 was "LOL your ping time sucks"
Yeah, the game isn't overly challenging to survive but I think it is a great high score chase. I find myself constantly pushing to get high scores which really does make it pretty difficult. If you play conservative just to get through levels it is pretty easy.
I love the visuals though!

Well picked this up in the recent steam sale and finally got to play it. Love it.
Such a simple thing, but few Arkanoid clones I've seen have ever done anything different. Always a quadrilateral board with gravity pulling the ball down and you hitting it back up. This one has a lot of sideways stuff, and the circle boards as well. Kept expecting a triangle map but maybe for the sequel?
Gravity mechanic is a lot of fun to play with, and even more so when the enemies use it against. Instead of the usual gun powerup you always have a gun and just decide when you want to use it. Can almost always hold out for more bits to charge up if you need to, or just pop it as soon as you got it. Likewise, choosing multiple balls whenever you want if you have the lives to back it up instead of just getting a ball powerup. Adds some much-needed depth and strategy to this style of game.
And I love the integrated Steam leaderboards. Knowing that garrion333 has a higher score than me on a map makes me want to replay it and kick his ass.
Finally... it's fun! The point of any game, after all. Best $2.50 I've spent in a while.
If anybody wants to play some co-op modes hit me up on Steam.

Psha. I've only played through the levels once on Steam. You just wait to see how high I can get ......... in the game.
