Duck is disappoint.

Those are really well done, WhiteSabre.

Honestly though, they look great. Maybe you should make one for us, in blue? (hint hint ;))

Very cool. Looks like you must have made other stuff. Let's see it!

The proof of my first novel arrived today. I'm ridiculously excited.

Congrats again, trichy!

Actually, I'm not sure. The cover designer felt that he looked like the main character.

Nice work! However, you forgot to model his boyfriend.

It is the very physical representation of awesome. I've been making inhuman noises over him all day.

I <3 Mini!Anders.

I threw some ingredients together and hoped for the best. Cookie recipe for the crust, stuffed into mini-muffin tins, filled with apple pie mix, sprinkled some oat crumble on top, tiny dollop of icing, five or six drops of caramel on top.

They're so little! You can get a sense of scale here.

Amebic,

If i recall you've been struggling over design careers. If that tastes anywhere as good as it looks, and you just dreamed up jamming those ingredients into a mini muffin tin, might I suggest a bakery?

Damn I wish one could courier pastries.

Shot Trichy!

I recently made this guy for KatrinLHC. Well, I sculpted his hair and made the clothes and staff, etc.

That's pretty damned cool. I've been to your site once or twice looking at the doll clothes in wonder. More pics of uniques like this please! Also, I may need a Taran Wanderer in about 6 or 7 years after I get my daughter hooked on Lloyd Alexander, so be prepared.

(Amazing damned flight sim setup...) The drawback currently is that it doesn't work on SLI, so I have to render it all on one GTX 460 right now. This seems to work fairly well still on DCS but since I'm currently making my way through the flight manual and not really flying I may find that the framerate drops too low in heavy action.

Wait... I have a 460. 768 tho, not 1gb... Tell me... How do you get 3 monitors out of that one card? 2x DVIs and 1x HDMI? That's all the outputs on mine. Speak to me, my master.

Edit: I'm about 5 pages back. This thread DELIVERS. I'll be back.

I'm driving 4 monitors off three cards, although one of the cards is just an SLI slave with no monitors attached. If you have matched monitors you can SLI and use the nVidia Surround option. If you have unmatched monitors like I do with my upgraded center, you have to use SoftTH which renders on one card and breaks the image up to send to other cards for the other monitors. If you already have the monitors and they're matched your best bet would be another 460 as it should run around $100, then you'll get the performance boost to boot.

Okay. I have a miniATX board, so no slot for a second card. Nevermind. Also... I hate you.

It goes on sale officially on November 1 on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iBooks, the other assorted eBook dealers for $4.99, and a print version on Amazon for $9.99.

Unofficially, it's already for sale for Kindle and Nook because you can't post-date a release on there, and I didn't want any issues to delay the release.

It's a neo-noir mystery about two veterans who are dragged into the search for a rebellious teenage girl. A few members of GWJ have read it. As a matter of fact, BadKen was the brilliant and generous man who made sure that the book was properly formatted for Kindle, Nook, and the others. Without his help, it would have been a colossal headache.

Very. Especially if you're an ex Navy Nuke like I am. Or... even more so if you're not, because, well, one hopes that most of his readers are not limited to ex Navy Nukes.

Mr. Stogner, make it easier for people to buy. Like this:

72 Hours by Dietrich Stogner, available for Kindle and Nook!

Early access for GWJ members only!*

*or anyone else who knows how to find a book on Amazon or BN.com.

Sounds interesting. If you could convince Prederick to narrate the audio book, I would be all over it. I really need to start actually reading books again.

I've been making scarves:

And a baby hat for the school bus driver's new baby:

The scarves are gifts for my brother and his family in Chicago. Depending on how much time I spend on other projects, I may make hats to go with them.

The question is, have you made a beard toque for anyone?

Not yet.

I've been considering a dead fish hat, though.

(Disclaimer: I haven't made this... yet.)

trying out a different paint package on the ipad, Procreate. Definitely seems to be my favorite so far.

Sketchbook Pro is not bad either, but I've found it occasionally stops working and has to be reinstalled, which is a pain. Procreate seems MUCH more stable and can create higher-res images.

I just wished the images looked as good on a regular monitor as they do on the ipad screen

Katy:
Nice cabelling on the first one, on the second scarf are they individual triangles sewn together?

Stevenmack:
So you've been procreating with your iPad? ew...
