Post a Picture - Something You Created!

Wow! That's awesome

Here is a blocked out WIP of a stovl or vtol aircraft concept I had with paddle wheel styled propellers that are helical. The rudders in the back stabilize the craft and also act like wing sails to provide additional thrust. If I ever get a 3D printer, I would love to build stuff like this and test it to see how well I could get it working:

Is this my first proper art credit in an actual book you can actually print actually? Yes. Yes it is.

Just the one map in this case, but i've got two other projects i'm attached to where i'm doing much more substantial illustrations and cartography which are coming soooooon? Ish?

(Caveat 1: Print on Demand of course, but i'll take it!)

(Caveat 2: POD copies disabled temporarily because Drive Thru are a pain in the butt with their new pricing scheme and that is all getting sorted out in the background, but PDF versions are still available here.)

Wow! That is so cool! Thanks for sharing the great news.

There is some kind of bug in the forum, I can only give this one like.

My artwork is now adorning a collection of poetry. This is a first for me. Twitter thread here.

Bought a digital copy, love it.

There’s an old Garfield comic strip from the 80’s where Garfield smokes a pipe and I drew a Loss mashup of that strip earlier this week for a random Garfield meme page that I follow… it is incredibly stupid and has already become the single most popular thing I have ever made. I don’t know how to feel about that.

...oh also i have a couple of encounters I wrote for it, along with doing the maps and coming up with the 'librarian' character. I guess.

Coming friday!

Very nice!

Aliens?

The aforementioned cosmic horror encounter anthology is now out!

"Read the correspondence between the Librarian and the Peddler, the individuals affected by the incomprehensible powers that lurk in the depths of the ocean and in the darkness behind the bright stars. Listen to their tales of cosmic horror whether you heed their warnings or follow in their footsteps.

Tales From the World's End is a collection of horror encounters suited for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tiers of play. The title includes:

Sixteen terrifying encounters (four available for preview).
Eighteen letters written by the Librarian and the Peddler.
Fifteen new monsters.
New magic items.
Original art and cartography.
And More!
All of these are beautifully laid out on 87 pages. A printer-friendly version is included for your convenience."

Stay tuned to this space.
I recently watched a video on how someone made the Porsche inspired star wars ship promotion, more Star Wars like. It inspired me to do the same. The concept is to draw from the x wing, y wing, u wing and taican(sp?). Wish me luck

I finished a commissioned piece, which I guess means I take commissions! Weird. Spoilered for super mild NSFW language.

I also finished a few woodworking projects, which I posted about in the woodworking thread.

Cross-posting from the musician thread. I didn't create the cover image, but I did create a song.

The band I'm in that's an offshoot of another band I'm in that's an offshoot of a game has a new album coming out today.

You can preorder it on Bandcamp (and it's Bandcamp Friday!) -- it unlocks in about 3 hours. We're also doing a live stream of the album at the same time.

My song is called Upon the Unlikely Discovery of a Ghost, Please Do Not Panic (Immediately) and it looks like it's about 25 minutes into the stream.

This is my second video review(?). I'm not perfect at it, but I'm trying to do a video every week and improve upon my last

The volume levels are a bit uneven, especially when you cut to the game's cutscenes. But, overall, well-done.

Yeah that's something I struggled with a little. Hoping to get better with that for my future videos.

Thanks foe the critique!

Working hard to be a little better each week

I realised last week that most good videos have a central thesis, so I honed in on something small and worked overtime to make sure my audio was better!

Weird to think that I am now on not one, but two cassette releases.

Our first two Putrid Shark releases are now available on tape, you can buy them on Bandcamp.

I poured all of myself into this video, and I'm still not sure how comfortable I am leaving it online.

It's a video about my mental health and struggles throughout the years, disguised as a generic "top 5" gaming video. It's...heavy, and I had to stop a few times during recording because those emotions were creeping a little close.

Yet it helped a lot. Normally I'd ask you all to "enjoy", but that doesn't seem like the right word. Here's the most honest about myself I'll likely be in public. Make of that what you will.

I enjoyed that video very much.

Created some wall art this Christmas for my wife. Its the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.
