Archer on FX

"...Archer Vice!"

Spoiler:

The montage at the end.... so excited for the rest of the season.

That was the greatest thing ever.

This season is going to be amazing.

I actually thought the montage at the end, while containing a lot of cool stuff, was just a disappointingly obvious attempt to pad out the episode. The interrogation montage in the middle of the episode was pure genius, though.

So, anyone have a line on where I can watch this if I don't have FX? I went halvsies with the wife's boyfriend (insert threesome joke here) buying Season 4 on Amazon, but I don't see it there yet.

You can buy season 5 on Itunes.

I love this show so damn hard.

I considered making this very joke but was simply too lazy.

Gaald must not watch Archer. Otherwise, he'd have splashed this thread with sweet, sweet spoiler rage.

It was built into the episode itself. It's fair.

"fair", but a bad decision on their part.

How many minds would be blown if they would go a completely different route, despite the spoilers so far? It could be all a rouse (It was all a dream! :D).

Well, by the closing shot that's what I thought too.. and it was awesome.

but apparently that was indeed a montage of scenes from the next few episodes.

It better not be a ruse... I am dying to see the tranquilizer dart episode.

Literally or figuratively?

Dear lord I just read that in my head and it was in archer's voice.

Sadly Im late to the party but loving it so much that I've made it my new avatar. Also, my wife got me the Archer book and it's hillarious.

My only worry is that by trying to catch up on Netflix while watching new episodes is that Im going to be confused or get a lot of spoilers about what happened in past episodes.

Luckily, you can binge watch the entire series in about a week.

This new season is freaking brilliant. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.

Anyone else find last night's episode to be "eh"? I just didn't find that much funny in it.

They can't all be gold medals of humor. Any Archer is good Archer.

VERY late to the party. I've never seen an episode but have heard so much about it. For a recent movie night I talked wifey into watching S1E1 with me. We couldn't last 10 minutes. The characters talked extremely fast and the dialogue was so rapid fire it actually felt like exercise to watch and listen. Does that dissipate over time? Was the S1E1 episode unique in that respect?

Nope. That's the show and one of the things I personal enjoy. It is one of the shows I rewatch because I just know I will miss a few of the jokes the first time.

While that's true, it does help to have seen a few episodes so that you get used to the characters. I don't think the humor and characters clicked with me right away. Arrested Development was similar in that respect for me. At least watch the zeppelin episode before giving up on it.

It took a few episodes for everything to click for me, the only reason I kept watching past the pilot was because I was a big fan of Adam Reed's work for Adult Swim. Now it's my favorite contemporary tv show.

Looks like Ol' Snowball done it again.

Aaaand ordered. Needs it.

I thought Pam losing weight due to the coke habit was really smart/great... until they started talking about it explicitly and it went all after-school special.

I'm actually pretty sad about Pam's evolution at this point. making her a field agent made a lot of sense given all her abilities.. but they never really used her that well and now she's spiraling into self-parody.

According to a news byte on Deadline FX renewed Archer for two more seasons

I want a shirt of Charlene on stage at Travis County Limits.
