Ron Gilbert, creator of the Monkey Island series and Maniac Mansion, is giving the keynote this year, can't wait to see that!

I would get a super fine tip marker! I KEEED!

I cannot wait!

This thread consumes me with jealousy. It doesn't stop me reading it and wishing for my fairy godmother to get me there.

Dude you don't even KNOW!
Heh. I can't wait, either : )

We should make up some shirts with Certis' face on them!!

I second this.

Was going to jump in and ask for a seat at the cool kid's table, but I'm not sure it's gonna work out now. We'll see.

Dude. You live even closer than I do, and that's hard to accomplish.

I hope it works out for you.

The wife and I are going =).

Has anything been declared about which night this is happening? My vote is Friday night for a couple reasons. It's early enough so plans to gather during PAX can be discussed if needed/wanted. Also, I'm going to Bumbershoot while Quintin is at PAX and there are some bands Saturday night that I don't want to miss! IMAGE(http://rps.net/QS/Images/Smilies/jam_on.gif)

My vote is also for Friday night.

I'm going to be beholden to whatever Enforcer shifts I get assigned. Friday sounds plausible though.

Friday works for me, but i'll be arrriving later, around 8 or so. Hopefully you guys will have created a scene by then.

Where to meet? [i]I'll be in Seattle one day early.

Last year we went the Elephant and Castle (I personally wasn't too enchanted with their service or their Guinness, plus that room is small if we get everyone who's threatening to come). The year before that we went to Kells, but we didn't get a banquet room and it was too loud. With a little warning, we can get a room and have good Guinness and the ability to hear each other speak. That's my vote - if you guys want I can get ahold of Danae and see what she has to say.

This is the last thing posted about location. Anything more definite decided? Kells was good until the loud live music started 2ft from our table, so the banquet room sounds good to me.

I'm working on it - Danae hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'm hoping to have a straight answer next week.

Thanks momgamer! IMAGE(http://rps.net/QS/Images/Smilies/applause.gif)

Hi all - please add me to the list of attendees. I'll also probably be doing some board game playing and might break out my Warmachine minis, so if anyone's interested in that let me know too.

If you're looking for a place with good food and beer not too far from the Convention Center, may I suggest Rock Bottom Brewery.

I'm up for Friday and Saturday.

So... I've been waffling about coming again this year. It looks like I'll PAX out for at least one more year so I have my registration and just need someplace to sleep and airfare. Airfare is easy but sadly, the hostel I planned to stay at is already fully booked, so I'll need to find somewhere else to sleep. Perhaps I'll just have to sleep in alleys, I've done that before in Tokyo (thanks U.S. Navy , long story but it had a happy enough ending.)

Seriously though, I'll be there in a real hotel and hopefully not too far from the convention center. I'm planning on arriving on the 3rd and leaving on the 7th. I'll be present for any GWJ slapping and/or tickling.

Add me to the list, coming from God damn Alaska, so make it worth my while.

Where in Alaska? (I'm from there, so I'm curious)

And are you coming down with the big Alaska contingent that always comes down as a group, or are you flying solo?

I'm in Anchorage, coming down with my girlfriend. I'm hitting Vegas for a few days then doing PAX over the weekend.

PAX is starting to sneak up on me, just realized it's less than a month away now! Getting really excited, been wanting to go to PAX for years now, can't believe it's finally about to happen

The full exhibitor list came out a few days ago, looks like it's going to be a big show. So what is everyone most excited for now? I'm really hoping that Blizzard will bring playable demos for StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3.

While in seattle I want to go to Red Mill Burgers, it is supposed to be god like.

Do we have any plans on where we are going to meet in the first morning yet? And what time does PAX actually open each day?

I'm pretty sure that the vets can answer this better than me, but as of next week you should be receiving a schedule next week sometime.

That's all I know.

I've added the schedule to the original post. It's also here.

Its getting closer! What are we gonna do about goodjer insignia?

Zomg, my tickets have arrived!
Has the giddy gamer mania set in yet for anyone else?
Is there progress on the insignia?
Anyone else stoked that they're going strong until 3am this year?

Also, please add my new husband to the rollcall; I found him at PAX '06 and decided to keep him : )

I got my badge Saturday! PAX can't come soon enough for me, it's all I've been thinking about since the badge arrived heh. Still trying to figure out what panels I want to see. Definitely won't to see the TRS, GiantBomb, and ListenUP live shows, the Old Republic demonstration, Keynote, maybe some of the PA panels. I've never been to PAX though, so I don't know how much time I'm going to end up spending on the exhibitors and how much time I'll want to spend in panels.
