The Official Trading Post

I have an 80GB PS3 Fat, with emulated backwards compatibility. It is in really good condition - I barely ever used it. It was a FOMO purchase at the time. I have a regular Sixaxis and a Dual Shock 3 controller.

As far as whether the emulated BC is good or not, I did play several hours of the PS2 version of Persona 4 from a disc on this system. I didn't notice anything that made me think it was slow, or performed poorly. I have not done extensive testing, but I do know some people prefer the hardware over the software.

Full disclosure: I have opened this PS3 and put more advanced thermal paste on the processor, in an effort to stave off a YLOD failure. Not that this PS3 has ever shown signs of that happening - it was purely a preventative measure.

Let's start with $75, and I'm going to ask for some help with shipping costs, after having recently shipped a 3 pound package and got sticker shock from that.

And if you hate the Dual Shock 3 (as I do), you should know that the PS3 firmware was updated at one point to support the Dual Shock 4. I played the entirety of Demon's Souls using a Dual Shock 4 on this system a few years ago and it worked perfectly.

EDIT TO ADD: I am currently talking to someone to sell to, however, I wanted to disclose a few things. First, although I did playtest this for a while recently, just this afternoon when I booted it up, it gave me a scary-looking error: "Cannot Start - The Appropriate Storage Was Not Found"

Googling turns up that this likely means there's something wrong with the hard drive (it is the original 2006 model, so it wouldn't surprise me). If the current interested party backs out because of this, I will just replace the drive myself. Just know that it would not be the original drive.

Second - my Sixaxis controller has gone missing. I still have a Dual Shock 3, though, and the Dual Shock 4 compatibility exists, as well. The Sixaxis, if you don't remember, was the launch controller minus the rumble due to a copyright dispute. I'm knocking $15 off the price for the missing controller, and that is now reflected above. I am also in the middle of a move, so it's likely the controller will turn up somewhere while I'm packing, and I would be happy to send it if it does.

Again, I will not sell to someone else unless the current interested party backs out, but I'm just updating the post now to reflect that and save time later, just in case. :)

Gone!

How did I never know this? Still have my PS3 hooked up for a couple pile games I intend to play. Need to try that.

Let's start with $90, and I'm going to ask for some help with shipping costs, after having recently shipped a 3 pound package and got sticker shock from that.

I recently shipped a fat 60gb ps3 from UPS and it ran around $40, but that was Ohio to California, so YMMV.

Thanks - my smaller 3 pound package also went from Ohio to CA, and it was $25 with USPS. Maybe I'll try UPS this time.

That is, if anyone wants this thing. I will not be e-baying this, as we have a local game chain that takes trades of all kinds of things, and I suspect they'll take this. I would just prefer to see if a GWJer wants it before I take it there.

Caught the photography bug? How about a starter DSLR kit?

I bought this camera almost 11 years ago, used it for one vacation (albeit, a pretty big one)

Below you'll see a full list of items you'd get with this package deal. If you want individual pictures of anything, I'm happy to oblige, but this has been in a camera bag for the better part of 10 years - I used it occasionally in that time, but almost always opted for a smaller point-and-shoot in concert with my phone camera for vacations these days. I never quite caught the "actual art" photography bug. Everything looks practically new.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens stored in this sleeve.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens - Fixed stored in this case.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens stored in this case.

0.42X Fisheye lens w/Macro For Canon EOS Digital Rebel

Amazon Basics Backpack for SLR Cameras and Accessories

Aputure Coworker Wireless Remote Shutter Release for Canon Cameras

LensPEN Lens Cleaning System

Giottos AA1900 Rocket Air Blaster

Pedco UltraPod Lightweight Camera Tripod

SanDisk 32GB Class 4 SDHC Memory Card

Fair warning - I have not tested all of the batteries. It does come with two genuine Canon batteries. They all held up well back when I was using the camera. Genuine Canon batteries are still available.

This is a pretty complete pack - bad habit of getting into a hobby and going full bore when I really didn't need to. Let's say $270 and 50/50 shipping. It's gonna be a big box.

Not willing to piece anything out. This is a package deal only.

EDIT: Removing the Wasabi Power batteries. I did not notice until I went to charge them that they have expanded. Regardless, the genuine batteries are still available on Amazon, as well as the Wasabi batteries. I have fully charged one of the genuine batteries, and am charging the other right now. One seems to be good, though I haven't done a full discharge test or anything. I've reduced the price by $30 for the absence of the Wasabi batteries. I will include the Wasabi charger, though, as it will charge the Canon batteries, and has the option for a car charger.

Even though the genuine batteries still look to be fine... it might be a worthwhile investment to just replace them. Decade old lithium ion... Eeeh.

EDIT 2: For anyone who is intimidated by a complicated camera, but also still interested - I barely used the manual on this camera for anything. I really learned how to use it by reading a book - specifically Understanding Exposure. A great read for learning what makes something like a DSLR and more complex photography valuable.

EDIT 3: Dropping to $270 and 50/50 shipping.

Selling Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Xbox One X. Barely played. My kid doesn't like it.

$48 shipped.

I have a lightly used Nintendo Switch OLED model (white). Comes with the box, a 256gb MicroSD card, a Pro Controller, and a carrying case. I’ll even throw in a spare dock, if you would like it.

Looking for $350 shipped.

Then I’ve got the following games. If you buy the system above and want any of these games or extra controllers, we can work something out. Until then, consider this just a list of what might be up for sale soon, as I’d prefer to move as much at once as I can.

* Triangle Strategy
* Persona 5 Strikers
* Planescape: Torment / Icewind Dale Enhanced Editions
* Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 Enhanced Editions
* The Legend of Zelda: Breadth of the Wild
* Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age

I also have:

* SNES Bluetooth Switch Controller (first party)
* NES Bluetooth Switch Controller (pair) (first party)

Again, once the core unit is gone, I’ll create a new post with the items left for sale.

I still have these 2 video cards that I'm looking to sell. Lowered the prices as they seem to be selling for less now on eBay.

First one is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 8GB from an Alienware Auroa R7 - $225
Second one is an AMD RX 580 8GB from a Dell Gaming PC - $175

Prices include shipping in the US.

My camera offer is down to $270. Gone.

Anyone in the Syracuse/upper NY area interested in a pair of tickets to see John Mulaney June 12th? We won't be able to make it anymore, so just looking to recover my cost on them (or even a bit cheaper). Floor, Row O, seats 5-6. Asking ~$130 USD each.

My son is trying to make money for a PS5. He has a couple $25 gift cards he was wondering if anyone wanted to buy at a discount. One is for Wendys and the other Steak and Shake

I've got a used GTX970 free to anyone who wants to pay cost of shipping. It's an ASUS of some kind, not sure of the model. I got it off GWJ from someone offering it in the exact same way.

Claimed.

Dropped price on my OLED Switch bundle.

I have a FitBit Charge 4 that I no longer want. Nothing wrong with it, I just upgraded to a different model.

It's currently equipped with the silver version of this band. I cannot find the original band, however, I doubt you'd want it. I found it uncomfortable and sweat-inducing.

$35 shipped.

Edit to drop price.

Does anyone need some mesh networking gear?

I've got a Synology RT2600AC and two MR2200ac's.

They work great and I've got them running the latest SRM 1.3 release.

IMAGE(https://i.imgur.com/WZ3EKLK.jpeg)

Looks like used the RT2600AC sells at ~$150 and the MR2200ACs are $115.

For all 3 I'd say $350 shipped to a GWJer.

I've got a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones I'm not using.

They are in perfect condition. I used them when I was on the road on airplanes a lot, but I'm no longer in a travel-centric role and they're just sitting around.

IMAGE(https://i.imgur.com/cQH3QRm.jpeg)

Used they're going for $225 shipped.

Any GWJer interested in $215?
