I am done with Star Wars: Squadrons for the PS4. It was a fun campaign but not fun enough to replay and I know I won't play MP.

$30 shipped.

PM me if your interested.

Ive got a list of stuff I need, I'm building up a basement Rock Band 'studio' (ok its a dank room with a tv and enough space for 4 people in some theoretical future non-Covid time) pretty much from scratch and thought some of you lovely folks could fill in some blanks for me.

* XBone. I see Farley3k's post and will hit you up if no one chimes in with a bundle of all the goodies
* XBox legacy rock band adapter. These are listed for STUPID prices on ebay, but its critical to the setup. No way Im paying $200 for just this bit. Its basically a dealbreaker. If I can't find this I'll give the dream up and get a ping pong table or something
* Wireless instruments (wired drum ok, wired guitars less ok) that are in good shape. I liked the Guitar Hero drums best but I'll take what I can get, even the Ion as long as everything works.

I just started going down the same Rock Band path thinking about fun things to do this winter. Although I want to get a real e drum kit to up my game a bit. Facebook marketplace here I come!

Done with Mafia Definitive Edition - PlayStation 4 - $30 shipped.

Spoiler:

Forgot how short Mafia was!

Looking for a keyboard for my dad. i'd like to get him something with some sort of backlight to help him see the keys (what color doesn't matter at all) and cherry brown switches (he likes the feel of mine and that's what i have). the only other feature he needs is a keypad so he won't use a tenkeyless. i'd buy him something new but his budget is like 50-60 shipped and if i get him something new and cheap he'll be pissy for awhile at wasting the money when it breaks in a year or 2 and i really don't want to deal with that.
so if there's anyone who is upgrading to a new and shiny keyboard, has something that would work for my dad and wants to get a chunk towards the new shiny (clicky?) keyboard, let me know.

Check out Red Dragon keyboards. I have had a K556 for about a year now. I have had one issue where the "A" key stuck, but I replaced it with one of the 8 INCLUDED switches. The switches themselves are Outemu not Cherry. Other than that 1 problem the keyboard is solid. Like really solid and heavy metal frame. It does not slide around on me. I also have their mouse, because I wanted something pretty cheap and they were. I certainly feel like I am getting my monies worth. Download the RGB software and change the color scheme to whatever you want. Plus several presets.

Prime Day has several mechanical keyboards on sale today.

Selling a set of Amazon Echo Buds. $55 shipped. They are in great shape, work wonderfully and I think I even have the box around.

PM me if your interested.

I bought AirPods during Prime day so I don't need the Echo Buds.

I was going to suggest a Corsair K95, as they were a well-priced, reliable option when I bought mine, but they've gone way upmarket with those, hanging a zillion flashy lights off them and charging $175 for the cheapest ones. I'm pretty sure I bought this old one for, I dunno, maybe $100? It only does red backlighting, but since I turn it off, I don't care what color it isn't.

Ducky used to make some very nice cheapies, but with good mechanisms. They've gone a little upmarket, but I see a number of different keycap types at $102 on Amazon today. None of the cheaper ones, however, have MX Browns; you can get Reds, Blues, and Blacks at that price, but the cheapest with Browns is almost $200.

You might tell your dad that demand for computer stuff is way up because of COVID, while supply chains have been messed up, so finding really dynamite deals is hard. Tech stuff just costs more than usual right now.

I know it's more expensive and so does he, he's just an old computer guy (programmer, system architect) sinve the 80s and the idea of spending any real amount of money on a keyboard or mouse just won't wash with him *big shrug*.
Thanks for the info, I'll check that red dragon out, are the switches equivalent in feel?

I believe so

I bought a red dragon after my three lights in my razer went out and I can't feel a difference.

Well, as another old techie (though probably not quite as old), tell him I think there are three things you should go upmarket on: power supplies, monitors, and keyboards. You can often compensate for weakish hardware, but the display and the keyboard are the things you actually interact with, the components you touch every day. There's just no replacement for a nice mechanical and a high-quality screen.

(And a good power supply. Buy quality on those so you don't kill your other components.)

Speaking of mechanicals, I have two 60% boards that I'm thinking of parting with as I've realized I'll likely never use them again (I love 60% boards).
One is a barely-used Ducky Mecha Mini (just as pictured) with Cherry Silent Reds (I love the feel of these).
The other is a WHITE Mistel Barocco split with Cherry Silvers (not my favorite, though I'm sure they're great to the right person) that was used for about 2 years.

I also have this external numpad with silent reds, used about 3 months.

Asking $85 for the Ducky, $65 for the Mistel, and $30 for the numpad, all shipped. $5 discount per extra board!

@malor, I've convinced him for monitors, HDs, motherboards and cpus but no luck on anything else. Despite decades of computer programming and hardware building/use (he and i built our first pc together in 89 or 90 and he was and still is running a software business) he still feels like spending money on anything that isn't crucial is something for gamers and thus a waste of money. Long stories abound. I guess no matter your tech savvy being 70 just does something to you? I dunno.
Anyway, not the purpose of the thread. Thank you all for the help, I got the red dragon keyboard for him and hopefully it'll make him less grouchy when he has to program for long periods.

I love my K556. Metal with no flex whatsoever, and the Outemu browns have been perfect.

That looks like a good deal for $60. I dunno if their replacement Browns will have the same longevity that the real ones do, but it comes with spares, and it's half the overall price. I'd certainly give that one a whirl if I was looking for a decent, inexpensive mechanical.

(I didn't see the subtle K556 link upthread, oops... I went and searched for it myself after Lou recommended it.)

anyone in europe need a gaming desktop? shipped form cyprus.... I actually don't know how it works here. 2070 super, i7 9700F the rest is there too.

A niche item, but is anyone interested in a Nexdock Touch? They just delivered the first batch of preorders and after an hour with it, it isn't going to work well for my use case.

It is pretty neat machine with no real competitors and a lot of people are using them to make a Raspberry Pi laptop, or with Samsung phones and DEX or with Intel Compute sticks or as a monitor for a Switch or console.

They charge a 15% restocking fee plus shipping and the next batch of preorders are not coming until February, so before returning it I thought I would see if my loss could be your gain. They are $310 if you want to order one, I'll sell this like-new one for $250 and you'll get it a lot sooner than next year! Just let me know if you are interested.

That looks super cool. Now I need to figure out if I need one of these or not.

If you decide you need one, I know where you can buy one for a good discount!

Selling my Xbox One S - 1 TB. Looking at Swappa the cheapest is $205. Since if I sold there they would take a chunk and I would have to pay for shipping I would end up with less obviously.

So I am going to sell it for $185 to someone here.

It is in great shape, works flawlessly, non-smoking home, etc.

PM me if your interested.

Ditto, and I'll offer the same deal on the same machine if anyone is looking for an Xbox One S - 1TB. Controller included.

Just figured I'd ask here. We are scrapping together some parts for my nephew to build his first pc for Christmas. I have an Intel 4th gen i7-4750 and some ddr3 ram but will need a motherboard, gpu and psu. We are not looking for anything near current. He likes minecraft, fortnite, rocket league and aming us so we don't need anything amazing.

Looking for stuff a few generations old that would be cheaper for him to get started with and as he makes money going forward he can replace the parts with better ones.

Let me know, thank you.

My step-father wants to sell his Link's Awakening (Switch) locally, but I convinced him to let me test the waters here, first.

This isn't technically trading, but I'm in the midst of listing a bunch of games from PS2, Wii, Gamecube, DS, plus some other platforms on ebay. Full transparency, a lot of these are going to be along the lines of "that sells for HOW MUCH?!" A few weeks ago, I was finally getting rid of a bunch of cases for games that are sitting in a CD binder, idly checked the price for a limited edition one, and saw it was selling for $70. I started checking the rest and found a ton that are worth real actual money, so I'm selling 'em.

I'm mostly using the proceeds from this to fund some around the house stuff, but nothing with a big rush. If you see something you're interested in, shoot me a DM. I'm happy to knock a bit off the price for GWJers, though probably not a ton. I'm trying to price at the midpoint of the going rate, as insane as that is.

Listings are in here, and I've still got another 50 or so games to add, so stuff will keep showing up on the list as I crank through it.
